Like Diario Deportivo Ole said today: "Que amistoso ni que ocho cuartos". It's never a friendly when these two meet. That's why it got sold out! There'll be some youngsters, but a lot of regulars are gonna come back. First derby of the year between la banda and the xeneizes. It's gonna be great! :D

Hopefully it's a repeat of last summer.

No one could finish. It was horrendous. Though, not as horrendous as the amount of holes in Boca's defense.

Their goalie was magnificent in every save he had.

Let's hope that next Sunday's match will be a bit more entertaining.

Oh, it will be. In this second game, called the Copa Revancha, there has to be a winner, so hopefully it'll add more flare than the first meeting.

And hopefully they'll hire a ref who can actually call a decent match. I don't know if anyone else was frustrated by his judgement, but there were a few key calls he screwed up, that should have gone Boca's way.

The game that they played this Saturday was part of the Summer tournament. Since it was a tie, they just split the points and no winner was needed. But the one coming this Sunday is not part of the summer tourney. It's a one-game Cup that has nothing to do with the tourney. It's even organized in another city. There has to be a winner. Both games don't have anything to do with each other, but it's always been known as the "second" game since it's well, the second meeting between the two in less than two weeks! Like a 1st leg - 2nd leg revenge kind of thing. :D

If you were referring to me, I don't favor either side. I was just commenting on the ref's showing.

Oh, also, everyone knows Brits are the biggest "criers"

La Revancha is probably one of my favorite traditions in sports.
