When Man City got promoted at Blackburn a few seasons ago, we sold out the 8000 away end, had hundreds of City in the other three stands, would guess around 5000, blackburn fans had tickets robbed off them and those who didnt get in watched from a hill over the game, or in the pubs.
And we always taken thousands to Oldham, this year wasnt as bad though, as Oldham had a decent ticketing strategy this time.

This is typical in Kansas City. Chiefs fans are among the most passionate in the NFL but are civil to opposing fans in their midst. I went to the Monday night game against New England and there were Pats fans scattered throughout the stands.
I was at the Christmas day game between KC and Oakland. There were a handful of Raiders fans (the biggest idiots in the NFL) there with a few looking to pick a fight after they lost. Security to their credit seemed to know exactly where every Oakland fan was sitting and kept an eye on them.

All of those posts on away travels are pretty small time apart from the Burnley one. Also Stoke in the autoglass cup/trophy/vase whatever once took 40k against stockport to wembley- remember though you got the tickets cos you were playing stockport who have very little away support - i know as i was there for that). United tend to rule in most of these things. When we won the premier league the first time(92-93) we went to Wimbledon on the final day of the season. In a crowd of 29k there were about 500 wimbledon fans. Do the maths and i think you will struggle to beat that.
Oh i forgot to say that i was there as well. I was nearly thrown out for accidently (honestly) hitting a wimbledon fan over the head with my champions flag. i was 13 at the time.
How many of those Utd 'fans' lived round the corner?
