View Full Version : SI's Strange Sense of Customer Service

Don't know where else to put this ... SI has me baffled.

I registered a couple of years back for their chat site. A couple of weeks after I was registered, my registration was removed. Why, I do not know.

At the time, I emailed 3x politely to SI requesting an explanation. No response. I tried to re-register. Not permitted. Periodically since then, I have attempted to recontact the company. Never a single response.

Peculiar. I'll tell you this, it does make me hope that the people running the next version of Champ Manager can get the job done, so that I can find a company where they have more respect for the long-time customer.

Try mods@sigames.com They're the moderators of the forums. If you email them and bring it to their attention I'm sure they'll pass it on the the person(s) who it needs to get to. :)

Thanks. However, I've done that three times. Just checking in, wondering how I might register for the boards. Silence on their end.

At this point, I'd settle for a "We won't let you register because you're on our Taliban hate list." I'd be puzzled, but at least there would be the courtesy of a response.

At least they let you register in the first place.

I've applied twice and never heard back from them.

After a while I just said screw it. The fact that they make you register to read a board that might get you excited about their game is bizarre to begin with.

That they then handle it so poorly is just plain wierd.

Just need to clear up a few points

Firstly, I'll personally oversee your applications but I need to first make sure

1. You are trying to register at community.sigames.com
2. You have not been a user before and been banned

We have many people register daily with zero problems, so these incidents are isolated but certainly not impossible to overcome

Please register on the above site, and confirm your details by the returned mail and then contact me (marc.duffy at sigames.com)

To confirm, we ask people to register as sadly our board attacts large number of idiots.

The main general questions forum for Football Manager allows anyone to view but only registered users to post.

I've been, what, 4000 posts on bigsoccer.com with nary a yellow card. Five humdrum posts on that board, banned for some unknown reason by a moderator who probably hit a wrong button, exiled for life.

Gotcha.

He's not saying you HAVE been banned, he's saying that IF you've been banned before then it obviously wont let you re-register.

So, if you've not had an account over there and haven't been banned, you've got nothing to worry about.

Hi mark,

Thanks for the reply. I tried again recently and my application was immediately approved. So whatever the issue was, it is now resolved.

Thanks.

Read what he said

OK, let's clarify.

I was a member. As a member I posted. One day, about 1 month after registering, I was not permitted to sign in. I have attempted without success to re-register, and I have not any response from repeated polite emails inquiring as to why I cannot register.

Not sure why this history is confusing.

Well, send Duffers an email.

I'm assuming you didn't just forget your log in details? My user name and log in name are not the same, so maybe you got confused?

Aljarov is my handle but my user name is **********, just to spell it out.
