So I was reading up on some old hip hop stuff and I come to find out that grafitti writer Futura 2000 actually made a song with The Clash. Now I dont know if it is good or bad but Im just curious to hear it.It might actually be one of the first rap/rock colabos. I cant find it anywhere on any of the FREE music download thingies like Kazzaa, WinMX, SoulSeek, etc.. So I thought maybe the music geeks on BS would know where to get it.
Its called:
THE ESCAPADES OF FUTURA 2000 By Futura 2000 & The Clash
I actually found some vinyls of it for sale on ebay but I dont really wanna spend money on it, and even if I did I dont have a turntable.

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but here's a WFMU show from 2001 that included this song. The link at the top is of the full show in .ram format.

A couple of options, I suppose -- a real techie might be able to splice out the song from this show, or, you can call / e-mail Hova at FMU (he's still there, now the co-host of the Sat AM children's show Greasy Kid Stuff) and ask him if he's got a copy. FMU DJs are usually really good at responding to requests like that.

Nice!!!
The rap is kinda corny and its not the most innovative stuff, but you can clearly hear The Clash's influence. Nice beat. Its not quite rock/rap as I thought it would be, all the Clash really does is play drum and bass and the thing has no guitar. But its a fun song either ways.
Thanks for the find dude! Ill keep trying to get it on mp3.
For thos of you who wanna listen the song comes on around 1:17 right after "This is Radio Clash".
