Anyone ever heard of this band?
They're French and pretty amazing.
I originally heard them and really got into them on the WorldLink TV World Music show. I picked up a few of their cds and went to see them live last night (Saturday).
They were so good... and the singer was unexpectedly hilarious. Check them out. I urge you to do so.

They're fantastic, at least as much as I can gauge from their self-titled debut album, which I have. I've always wanted to pick up more of their music.

A fine act that unfortunately has no iTMS coverage.

You should. It only gets better. Their fifth album came out just a couple days ago. You really need to see them live. The bass player/backup vocalist is really good. In fact, all of the musicians are.
The show I attended was sold out until a couple seats opened up on Thursday. I was really happy. They had a 7 PM and 10PM show on Saturday... they sold out in a day.

That's bound to change. I have a feeling that they're going to get bigger really soon. They really deserve it. I'm still reeling.
It's weird. Have you ever been to a show or seen something or heard something that you just kept thinking... "Wow. I wish XXXX were here!" and then "I sure wish XXXXX were here too." And then you went through the whole list of people you know, realizing that every single person you've ever come into contact with would have enjoyed it thoroughly? Half way through the show, I wished that I'd managed to buy about 15 tickets... and I thought about upcoming birthdays and gift-giving holidays.
