I know there's two of us in Palm Beach County. Myself in Jupiter and Llyod Heilbrunn in Palm Beach Gardens, which is basically the next town over.

How many SoFla Fanaticos will make themselves known? The boys are coming in February to train at Lockhart, so let's see if we can get sufficient numbers to get something organized for that particular camp.

Looking at the Barra website it appears you have at least one part time member :D

Just from what that little Behind the Badge article said.

I'll be real pissed if they haul off and decide to go train at Bradenton.

D.C. United announced Friday tentative plans for the club's 2005 pre-season training schedule. The MLS Cup Champions will gather Friday, January 28th to begin preparation for the 2005 CONCACAF Champions Cup and the 2005 Major League Soccer season. In addition to sessions in Washington, DC, United will travel to the IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton, FL, and Honolulu, Hawaii for portions of their pre-season training schedule and will participate in a number of scrimmages and exhibitions in preparation of their March 9th and 16th Champions Cup fixtures and their April 2nd regular season opener.

Oh, well. :o

Anyone know how long the drive is to Bradenton from Palm Beach County? They're playing four exhibition games over 10 days. Hopefully I won't have to work for one of them.

From Miami I remember it was about three hours exactly. From Palm Beach I think it would be two. I don't think I'll be making the trip this year but you can definitely count me in with the S. Florida DC United fan collective.

Myself and a couple of other Barra members are flying down next Friday for Sundays scrimmage against the U-20's. Any of you guys planning on going to Bradenton next weekend?
