Convey hit the post with a "fantastic effort" from 25 yards as well (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report?id=154002&cc=5901)

It's been a good weekend for ex-DCUers in England.

While I am not known for being a Convey fan, Im honestly happy to hear he got a start.

--I am also happy to literally hear anything about him on the DC boards

I think there are a lot of us who enjoy having a chance to be updated on former players, favorites or other wise. We shouldnt have to comb through often worthless Reading, Blackburn, Yanks forums for news on United alumni. (And despite what mods say thats exactly what they are... alumni. There is no reason why they should be "dead to us")

(Rant over...)

Rock on Bobby :D

Owen - I agree with you. If the mods prefer that we put this in the supporter's section, I don't see a problem with that. Because I want to understand how the alumni are doing from a DCU perspective.

Subbed out after 62 - I imagine he was tired from having played on Saturday. He also wasn't mentioned in the match report - a 1-0 Reading win that keeps them in the FA Cup.
