It trully is a shame that carson will be gone in the the next week as he's such a talent and could most likely be an england international one day. Though 1 million pounds is dam good.

yeah i guess so but it just depends on how many years are left in him. carson could have been the no.1 keeper for over a decade if he should stay.

It's the harsh reality of the situation that we're in. Unfortunately we need someone that can help us win now. Carson is looking at the situation from the standpoint that he is a backup keeper on a mid-level Championship club, when he can go play for the big dogs. He might feel differently if he were starting, but how different would our season look if Sully wasn't in there. Remember we were only a few points above the relegation zone a few weeks ago.

It's a shame, but there are many great goalkeepers out there (particularly in America, look over here).

No problem... i have a dream: that in a few years we will have our best players back again!!! Robbo, Woody, Milner, Smith... Carson will have to battle with Robbo for first team... Just imagin this team: Robbo; Woodgate, Killa, Frazer, Seth, Milner, Walton, Smith... 1 first team squad made of pure Leeds blood... does anybody share my dream? Of course Seth wasn't "made" in Leeds, but he's welcome...
And... does anybody also agree that Batty would be a great help this season? We are struggling to put good players in the middlefield... Batty has/had such expeirience to pass on to Walton and Seth...
Best regards to all the Whites over BigSoccer...

I would say that is an expensive dream. It was sort of mysterious how Batty disappeared after a falling out with the club. It sounds like bridges were burned and I think the club is moving on without him.
