I'm honestly not trying to whine here, but today's game just reminded me of how I can't stand how instant replay is handled. It's supposed to be a safety net to catch and correct bad calls, right? So then why can't you issue a challenge against any play call?

I swear, that whole quasi-religion-eagles connection thing (i.e. praying for owens, curses on the team, the usual merchandise-dressed nun even though those are in every city)... the Smith-to-Mitchell fumble made it all pretty damn believable.

It's still a ways out there, the wx models will inevitably change between now and game time, but it looks like good playoff football weather so far.

The running game will get their yards. It's just a matter of stopping them when it counts, and thats something they have been able to do all season. Here is the thing though....
Warrick Dunn never does well against Philly. I remember games where he was held to 12 yards. I think this defense is better than all those. I also think Trotter is playing as well as he ever had.
As for Vick, personally, I am much more scared of the Duckett having an impact than I am Vick. I just don't think he can win with his arm. He might have a few nice scrambles, but I think the secondary is much better than anything he has seen.
