Keith's Response: Acoording to the Bundesliga schedule at www.kicker.de, you will be there on the 29th matchday (16/17 April).
Is it just Bayern you want to see? Because if that's the case, you are going to have to go to Hannover as Bayern are playing there that weekend. That is not a short ride. I reckon by train, that's about seven to eight hours.
The closest 1. Bundesliga matches to Munich that weekend are in Freiburg (v. Leverkusen) and in Kaiserslautern (v. Bochum). It's almost impossible to get tickets on matchday in Freiburg, which is the closest of the two. It would be easier to get tickets for Kaiserslautern-Bochum if you want to go that far. I think by train Kaiserslautern would be three or four hours from Munich and the Stadion am Betzenberg is actually walking distance from the Kaiserslautern Hauptbahnof. Not a short walk, but walking distance. Tickets in Kaiserslautern should be easy to get as they should be done with most of the stadium renovations for the World Cup.
If you want to see 2. Bundesliga action, 1860 Munich are at home that weekend against 1. FC Saarbruecken. That match could be on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday night as the schedules aren't broken down to accomodate TV yet. 1. FCS are not a 'big named' club, so that match will most likely be played at the Stadion an Gruenwalderstrasse (Traditional home of both Bayern and 1860).
SpVgg Unterhaching are also at home that weekend against Karlsruhe SC. They play out in the Munich suburb of Unterhaching at the Stadion am Sportpark. You can take public transit out there.
Hope that helps!
Keith

It's about 4-5 hours from Munich to Hannover by train.
