I hope this is correct.
If true, this is close to "no harm, no foul". It stinks that they missed out on two friendlies, but at least this gives them time to train.

At first I didn't care if hard C's sources were correct regarding the Razov-Sanneh-Pope deal, but now I hope he's got a very solid source concerning the news on the USMNT camp.
that online petition must have done the trick.

It must have been my email to the USSF this morning complaining that they had the audacity to send me an invite to buy tickets to the Birmingham qualifier, despite not having a labor agreement.
I should have done this sooner. I'll take all the credit.

I talked to someone in Chicago a few minutes ago, and this was in fact the motivating factor. "If we've lost Albany, we've lost the country," was the consensus feeling, according to one source. "A real wake up call," said another. :)

I'm guessing Il Bruce made both sides an offer they couldn't refuse.

does a camp signal just ongoing negotiations under the same status that has existed since the last contract expired in '02?
or is there an actual new contract?

Soccernet sure got a great scoop on this, but is this really bigger news than the Alabama University Women's Team naming their three captains for next season?
I think not.

The final piece of the puzzle that sealed the deal...
Renaming John Harkes 'Captain for Life.'
On the serious side, it's about time boys...we shouldn't have to deal with garbage like this. We're all adults, not the NHL...
Cheers...
