The guy I coach with is a big THFC fan. Like Phishy he is contemplating moving to England to feed his addiction. So, this is a big, big, big game for me.
He's still mad at me that Chelsea lost (or drew, I can't remember) on the day and Arsenal won the league, allowing them to celebrate at White Hart Lane. So in some twisted way that has added more fuel to the local derby.
Perhaps Defoe can nab a goal and convince JM to go after him. There's motivation for you. ;)

A goal from Defoe would be ok with me in a 2-1,3-1...and so on ending result with Chelsea on top.

Is Defoe even healthy for this game?

This should be a tough one, even at 3 point lane. Twatingham has been in good form lately.

I'm gonna whine for a minute here. :( Anyone else here live on the West Coast?
i mean look at the freaking schedule that my time zone has to follow:
Sat. Jan. 15 EPL Liverpool Manchester United 7:30 a.m.
Sat. Jan. 15 EPL Bolton Arsenal 12 p.m.
Sat. Jan. 15 EPL Aston Villa Norwich 3 p.m.
Sun. Jan. 16 EPL Middlesbrough Everton 1 p.m
And PPV
Sat. Dec. 15 EPL Tottenham Chelsea 10 a.m.
Sun. Jan. 16 EPL Fulham West Brom 11 a.m.
An these are all eastern times. I got to move to NY, where i can get some sleep on the weekends, considering i have to get up at 5:45a.m every morning on weekdays.
Ok, i'm done.

Damn, thats a lot of good football on this Saturday.
I'm supposed to be going down to Harrisburg on Friday night and staying there for the weekend.Don't feel like doing it now at all.
Hope this next winter storm hits us a bit earlier.
All the old time Chelsea fans will be up for this one, yes, Dr I, i am talking about you :)
Go buy yourself a cheap VCR Yasik....even us eastern time zoners don't get up for the 7:30AM matches...or at least I don't...

Thanks GPK! but still, i have to record scousers game at 4:30 and then get up at 7 to watch the Blues! a vcr won't help me get my beauty rest. :p
I'm surprised your cable company doesn't replay the PPV matches in CA. Have you checked into that at all? I know last year out here they'd show it at 11AM and 1PM on Sundays....

Now they replay it on weekdays, either Tuesdays or Wed. But by that time, i'll know the results and it's not as exciting to watch. Nice might be right, Tivo is my solution.
btw, as of today, i just saw Fox sports world now puts their TV schedule ahead for 3 weeks and not just 2 weeks. Check it out. THey are showign Chelsea aginst Portsmouth live on Friday, Jan. 28(i think)

This game is so in the bag...it's THREE POINT LANE people!
Four nil,
we always win four nil,
we always win four nil,
we always win four nil!
*RANT MODE ON*
And might I add to the record that I am TOTALLY, TOTALLY, f'n sick of all this "quad" talk. F'n hell, Man U and Liverpool still have a shot too!! (Though they have no chance at catching us in the league...it's still possible!)
*RANT MODE OFF*

They just talk about the quad to put more pressure on Chelsea. No worries though, JM knows exactly what to say to our lads.
