Good eye. Wonder why they haven't sent out emails to ussoccerfan.com members? And how will Ticketmaster verify membership? Just seems strange to me. Well, I have to stay home with the my little girl tomorrow anyway since she has a stomach bug. I'll check it out in the morning.

You know what'd be great? If NO ONE (among hardcore USA fans) bought tickets until the labor dispute is resolved.

Yea it would be funny, but won't happen. Where'd you get that really cool avatar BTW ? Looks awesome.

What's the deal on supporters tickets?

I'd hate to buy my tix in the morning and end up sitting next to Carlos Ruiz's cousins.

Lifted it from the Onion Bag boards. Too good not to steal. :)

I agree. Let's wait and see what happens before we do or don't buy the tickets.

Moving to Fans & Travel.

However, a type of "ticket boycott/show them how you feel" thread would be a good idea, and that would go in USA Men. If anyone wants to run with SABuffalo's idea, I won't stand in the way of it.

Well, this was my reply to the email solicitation for Guat tix I found in my Inbox this morning. Hopefully someone is reading...

To watch scrubs?! No thanks.

Get your own house in order before you start hitting me up for money.

Your all-or-nothing proposal for binding arbitration was a joke. Even if you had gone that route and gotten your own proposal accepted, did you even think through what that would have done for player morale?

Get your head out of your ass, tell your lawyers to leave the room, and find the common ground for the good of the game and the good of the fans.

I’m serious.

i am waiting to see what happens before i buy tickets or plan any travel. i'll watch the team no matter what (if it's on tv), but i'm not spending bucks on trip if it's not going to be a good game.

i understand that others in the area are going to buy tickets because the game is there, and others may choose to buy for various other reasons independent of the labor dispute, but i suspect that they're going to find that numbers are down as fans wait to see what is going to happen. i would have been ticked if i had paid full ticket price to watch the euro-team subs last summer, and view that as a lesson for what to avoid with these qualifying games as well.

I also got the e-mail from the USSF and made my reply about not buying tickets because of the impasse. I was probably not going, but won't even entertain the thought of paying money that either side ocuuld benefit from until they have an agreement. I also cc'd it to some key USSF people, guestimating their e-mails based on their standard format (firstinitiallastname@ussoccer.org)
