I thought all this labor crap would be resolved already. If the USSF is serious about there Feb. 1st deadline then we haven't much time. If we play scabs and it jepordizes us qualifing it'll be tragic.

I with you man. I leave in the next two weeks for Iraq, and right now I am more stressed about the game against Trinidad.

I with you man. I leave in the next two weeks for Iraq, and right now I am more stressed about the game against Trinidad.I feel comfortable speaking for all of us when I say you have our respect and appreciation for serving our country. Even those who disagree with the war agree on that.

Here's to a safe tour in Iraq and please let us know when you're back.

Godspeed.

I second that. Probably should use my own words, but why, when Sand's said it quite eloquently?

Keep your head down, L.T., keep your head down.

Please return to us safe and sound.

If you run into my nephew in Bagdad -- Spc Jeremy Brown, 82nd Airborne --
say Uncle Howie says hello! He isn't able to respond to emails right now.

If you could use soccer balls to win some hearts and minds, let us know!
Maybe we could goad the USSF into sending a gross. They aren't spending the money on the MNT, so why not?

My official freak out date is Tuesday January 25th.

Thats 2 weeks before the game. If this doesn't get sorted out before then - we'll be in trouble. That is barely enough time to get whoever together for some practice.

ya, who exactly will the USSF bring in on two weeks notice that would be willing to cross the line?

and i am actually quite enjoying this.. :D :)

fear not yanks, the fluke factor is sure to kick in.. an all mls squad can grab the last ticket and be good enough to challange the asian team for a spot in Germany.

I can't be pissed at this. If it was the mexican team in this situation I would be laughing my ass off.

I can't be pissed at this. If it was the mexican team in this situation I would be laughing my ass off.In many ways this was our situation last time around.. not monatary but we had a terrible national team coach in Meza and three of our top players had maintained massive injuries.. Mexico was doing so bad in the Hex that they were practically eliminated. I remember a thread started by yanks talking about putting the final nail in Mexicos coffin, lol.. Anyways this is when Aguirre stepped in and guided our lads to the World Cup.. and you guys have teh Bruce, He is an excellent coach, im sure he can pull it off with scabs.

Now that i mention scabs, i had been in a debate about which tfc side had the most depth, and i mentioned how Mexico played WCQ with three diffrent coaches and almost three diffrent squads and managed to still grba a ticket to Japorea. I questioned wether the USMNT could pull it off, well looks like i might just get my wish. and no i do not wish you ill fate. keep your friends close and your enemies closer, i want the stars & stripes in Germany, round two rematch..

It's an all-USL team I'm worried about.
