As far as I can tell, there's no meaningful difference between finishing 3rd or 4th, since both will earn you a spot in the qualifying round of next season's Champion's League.

You're right 3rd n 4th are the same in European terms but 3rd sounds so much better than 4th! I would be happy enough with a draw at the Riverside, Anything but a lose away from home is a good result. Especially against Boro! I started following the Blues in 2000 when the team were shite and Archie Knox was knocking the guys around at Bellefield...literally. This team won't slide, Moyes won't let them.

Since Moyes arrived, we've seen some of the better (imho) football from these guys in YEARS! Without Moyes we'd be in deep pooh or the Coca-Cola Championship (some may think it's the same place). I can't imagine anyone else would have been able to get these 14-15 guys :eek: to 4th place!!

So, COME ON YOU BLUES!! Put this Gravesen business behind you and let's show 'Boro and the rest of the Premiership what we're capable of!

Good point, well made....however, Moyes doesn't have the added distraction of Master Rooney (like last year) and most of our players are out of contract at the end of this season. I'd say they're all playing for an extension or for a contract away from EFC...so they will play out of their skin in order to get the most $$ possible (at Everton or elsewhere).
