Why is Daft Punk not available at the US iTunes store?

I finally caved and decided to check out the iTunes store. I searched Daft Punk and found nothing, but when I found out I could check out other iTunes stores I figured I'd check out the France store. Sure enough, they had quite a few songs, including the one (Voyager) I was looking for. I tried to buy the song and it told me my account would only allow me to purchase from the US Store. Anyone know why DP's stuff isn't available @ iTunes USA?

They're "streaming only" on Rhapsody, too. Whoever publishes their music here in America is obviously not as big a fan of online services as whoever publishes their music in France.
