People always wonder whether Beckham is really better than Ronaldinho, the papers say it but what do we think? After Ronaldinho being crowned king of football for 2004 I think its obvious whos the better player. I admit Beckham is good at passing and can curl the odd free kick from 30 yards but Ronaldinho shows all the talent that Brazil has to offer, theres never a game where he doesnt smile and try out loads of his new tricks (I heard he gets them off the internet!) He's the beauty of football right now.

What do all us Barca fans think? Is Beckham better than Ronaldinho?

If Becham had any abilities other than long passes there might be some comparison. I have only on very few occasions seen beckham win a one on one. I dont like Ronaldinho but that is because i have rarely ever seen him loose a one on one battle and his passing is just as good as beckham's.

It depends what you mean by 'better'... you mean this last year? Right now? So far as a career?

I'd guess it depends on what the team needs. But for either the moment or for a long term contract, 9 out of 10 times I'd rather have Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho seems to have a much wider skill range, as you mention.
