sorry to harp on about this but i think we, the RM supporters should decide who is allowed to vote!
ive made the poll public so i can see the views of the real madrid supporters ;)

personally i agree with madridforever, it should be RM fans only, it should be our player of the year, not that of other supporters

thanks

I think if you are going to do the work, gazzad_5, then we should follow your leave.

I have reliable sources that confirm that anybody who doesn't support Real Madrid stinks, there must be a need for foul-stench-free rankings.

Well, it doesn't matter to me either way really....but those people still smell bad.

I think Real Madrid supporters should be the only ones allowed to rate the players. However, how are we going to decide who is a supporter and who isn't? What about newbies? What about posters who have Real Madrid in their little "Team:" slot in their profile, but never post on here?

As there is nothing that the Mods can do to regulate who posts in what thread (as long as no TOS have been violated), I hate to say that everyone will be allowed to offer their rankings as they wish.

However, it is up to all Real Madrid fans to use their own judgement in deciding which users' posts carry value and credibility. This can indeed be a challenge, as there is a constant influx of Newbies mixed with the everpresent wolves in sheep's clothing that only wish ill upon Real Madrid (we all know who they are), so this turns into a case of caveat lector.

En fin, it's as easy as trusting the words of those who you think have cred and disregarding those who haven't earned it. And if actual polls are created, always set the option for usernames to be remembered as to how the voting breaks down.

Just so you all know, (speaking only for myself) lately you've made it real easy to be a Mod here. Thanks. :)

gazzad_5 should make his own judgement on whose ratings should be counted. The ratings for Ath.Madrid were all okay althrough some of them came from non-regulars or newbies. I did not see any extreme highs or lows. it is hard to tell they are real fans or causal viewers of the match.

Even as fans, we will disagree on the ratings for each player. For example, I thought very highly of Solari at the last match while I thought some of you gave him too low of a rating. When the times came, gazzad_5 can make his own judgement. We can always PM him if we suspect someone.
