First off, I think Riquelme, though inconsistent, is a great player to watch when he is on his game. I personally love his days with Boca where he was running the show, capped off when he dominated play against Real Madrid in the 2000 World Club Toyota Cup.

But having said that, the current state of the game demands speed and consistency, two of his negatives and Ronaldinho's positives. I think a small club like Villareal suits his style, where the media spotlight isn't as intrusive as it is in Barca. If he keeps this form, there has to be a place in the starting lineup for Argentina in the 2006 World Cup.

Here's looking for more meetings between the two both for club and country.

I always thought that the only current team that Ronaldinho wears number 10 for is Barca. If I remember correctly doesn't Kaka wear the 10 for brazil while Ronaldo wears 9 for both Real and Brazil. So I am sorry if this eems redundant but can you explain your name to me one more time, I just fail to see the connections.
