"Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Rio Ferdinand are all likely to figure, though striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and winger Ryan Giggs are unavailable through injury."

Bring on Rooney and Ronaldo.

This is the Mancs' best chance of winning something this season, but I'd love to see Ferguson end another season with f***-all. I'm convinced that we have too much for them to handle.

2-0 Chelsea.

Remember when Fergie said he'd be playing the "kids"? I don't think he was implying Rooney and Ronaldo at the time.

Well, i bet if you ask SAF, he will say that they are still kids(which they are), but he was smart, cuz anyway you look at it, he can explain himself if he fields Cron and Rooney, that's what he meant by "kids". O well, let's see what they can do agianst the best defense in the EPL.

Hope chelsea win. The more games they play the more chance we have of them slipping :)

I'll be very disappointed if we don't have a strong side out for this one.
Hopefull the gaffer will have second thoughts after his rather less than stellar picks for the center of defense at the weekend.

Kez still owes me a goal from the FA Cup game.

I'll second that. This might not be an all important cup but it would still be nice to go to Cardiff and cheer Chelsea in a Finals :D

Robben's out for this one. I'd look for a 4-4-2. Kezman and Drogba/Eidur.

Is Huth fit? I thought he was still out.
Don't expect to see Lampard playing defensive midfield in front of Makalele, Smertin and Jarosik. More likely Cole would play instead of Lampard or on the right in a 4-4-2.

isn't huth going to Bundesliga? I think ManU will play 1/2 of their stars and 1/2 junkies. 2-0 to Chelsea with 2 goals from Kezman. No Robben, no problem.

btw, did anyone see the highlight form the Scunthrope match on CFC.com(chelseatvonline.com). the website always states that the highlights are there, but i can never find them until like 3 days later. This is the 3rd time it happens to me when i can't find the stupid highlights. help please. thanks

i just saw the interview with Jarosik and poor lad can't speak English. Cech was doing all the translating. I wonder how that is going to work out with the rest of the team.

I wouldn't mind to play Gudjohnsen instead of Kezman....any 1 of them would do it...

o.k., since everyone's doing lineups:

--------carlo---------
Johnson-Gallas-Terry-Ferreira
-Smertin-Maka-Lamps-Duff-
-----Kezza-----Drogba-----

both drogba & kazza are in good form, and Smertin was great vs. manure in august.

just a thought.

From the BBC squad lists given as:

Chelsea (from): Cech, Cudicini, Johnson, Ferreira, Gallas, Terry, Lampard,Smertin, Jarosik, Cole, Geremi, Tiago, Kezman, Gudjohnsen, Drogba, Duff,Makelele, Morais, Watt.

Man Utd (from): Howard, Ricardo, P Neville, O'Shea, Brown, Fortune, Pique, Spector, Fletcher, Djemba-Djemba, Miller, Ronaldo, Richardson, Scholes, Jones, Eagles, Rooney, Saha, Bellion.

From this squad we could have a repeat of Saturday or a half decent team so we are not much wiser. I think Terry and Lampard will play.
