Does anyone find themselvs being a better game player then practice player? Cuz i feel like i play like sh!t in practice, espically small sided games, then i do in games. Is there a way to show a coach u merit a starting spot for games that r played 11-11 when u suck playing 6-6?

My guess would be that your descision making skills are not up to the same level as your technical skills are. You struggle playing in tight spaces where you are constantly giving the ball away, where as in a full field situation you are more successful running at teams with the ball and making passes into space.
Does this sound reasonable?
If it does I can help.

excatly also in games im usually at a fixed position where as in small sided people are switching all over the place and it gets confusing and im worrying about that stuff so when i get the ball im all tense and hesitant

I find that this is my problem. I don't play quick enough I think in smaller games - I'm good at holding onto the ball so don't lose it that much, but do need to improve this side.

i find that its hard to play as intense in practices as in games... i dont want to hurt anyone when im playin for fun, but in a game i go all out no problem

Diddo.
I can be outstanding in practice, and then end up not shining as much in the match that weekend.
All I can pin this on is a confidence issue. I may be more comfortable playing amongst my fellow teammates, but when the opposition gets into the picture, I lose some confidence.

maybe that was my problem confidence cuz i was playing with kids i never played with before. The coach is cool though he said he'll let me come to about 4 more practices before he decides to keep me or not. I mean im not great at small sided games i never was but man did i suck that day i posted this.
