Ok I have convinced my dad to take me down to Harrods to get some miadidas boots. He says £150 is a bit steep but I dont care. What I want to know is how does the Miadidas proccess work? I mean they cant give you them there on the spot can they?

what happens is you go down there, and you half a fitting seession which lasts about half an hour. they get you to fill in your details on a form, they measure your foot length and width, and get you to walk on a pad which 'senses' your weight distibution when you step on it.

you then choose options such as if you want a tight fit or not, whether you would like the powerpulse inserted (apparently gives 3% more power on your shots), sg fg or hg, if sg, length of blades, type of blades (they have some weird looking ones which look pretty dangerous  ).

you then choose the colour options you would like: look at www.adidas.com/miadidas to see the combos

you can then decide what you'd like on the tongue of the boots and the number on the back or the adidas symbol.

what then happens they send your orsed alongwith your specifications to their factory in Indonesia and it takes around 28 days to get them back-they can either send them to you by post which costs more or go and pick them up in person.

one thing --> i don't know why they didn't just send them to the factory in Germany --> adidas using cheap labour???

any more questions, pm me or post in this thread.

Ah ok. Might get black out or the black/silver combo. :D . I'm leaning towards the black silver combo.

Just curious, do you need to buy a new predator pulse OR can bring in your own one for this service ?

Hehe I was trying to make the same decision. My first instinct was the black/silver and I think that's what I would have got. However I've just bought a cheap pair of the indigo/silver ones so it looks like I won't be using Miadidas this year!

I thought that the measuring equipment at the Adidas shop was in much better condition than the one at Harrod's. Beside's, I'd feel more comfortable at an actual Adidas shop than at a tourist driven department store.

You dad's got it right! £150 is f7777ckin' ridiculous unless you're a pro.

Not if you have funny sized feet that never feel comfortable in another boot. And anyway, £150 is pretty awesome considering the 'stock' ones should retail for £120.

I was perfectly prepared to spend that amount (note it's ME spending it, not someone else buying it for me) on a pair because I have wide feet but I think normal Pulses just about fit me - I'll decide when these boots die if I go for another stock pair of cough up for a custom pair.

Plus they look awesome when you get some custom colours done like the all black ones or something.
