Apparently Jude Law is uunder consideration to play Ian Curtis. Not sure I'm thrilled with that choice.

I could survive with only 24-Hour Party People, but I'm sure I'll see this.

I'm curious, cause Corbijn is directing...but i definately am skeptical at the same time.

Even if it's Jude Law, I'd go see it (see Closer, he's good in it).

And, anyway, having more people talk about their music isn't a bad thing. I don't expect the teenyboppers to run out and get a copy of substance or anything, but shedding some deserved light on a good band can't hurt. Too Much.

Oh, I'm not against Law generally. I just have a little problem thinking of him for this particular part (too much of a pretty boy). I can imagine Clive Owen in it, perhaps, if he were about 10-15 years younger. Personally, I think this is a part that screams for a relative unknown. Heck, I thought the guy in 24 hour party people had him down pretty convincingly.

I think a thread about this has popped up before, maybe it was at imdb, and I do concur that the guy in 24 hour... was pretty good.
