IF Elfsborg - AIK 0-1 (0-0)
0-1 Andreas Alm (82)

Andreas Alm, AIK's golden guy from last year (scoring one goal ever 52 minutes on the average), is back in business! He entered the pitch in the 75th minute, his first appearance this year, and 7 minutes later he scored the only goal of the game (see it on www.aiksupporters.cjb.net). AIK will play their 4th consecutive final in the Swedish Cup, their 7th final in 8 years and their 8th final since 1991. Another cuptitel around the corner? That would safe AIK's face after a rather miserable season in Allsvenskan.

Djurgården - Malmö FF 4-0 (0-0)
1-0 Niklas Rasck (64)
2-0 Babis Stafanidis (78)
3-0 Stefan Rehn (82)
4-0 Louay Chanko (85)

The two best teams in Sweden at the moment fought it out at the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm. Only 3,810 people came to see the match (even so, it was 1300 more than came to see the other semifinal) which at first was dominated by Malmö. The first half was definately in favour MFF and they should have scored before the halftime break, and they probably would have if it hadn't been for Andreas Isaksson, the young and talented DIF keeper. The second 45 was all Djurgården and the first goal was more than well deserved. They followed up with another 3 goals in only 7 minutes and, of course, the match was all over.

The final will therefore be a clash between the rivals Djurgården and AIK from Stockholm. The final will be played at the National Stadium, Råsunda, on November 9th - on week after Djurgården will have clinched (?) their first soccer title in several decades. Will they make the double? The two previous encounters this year ended as follows :

Djurgården - AIK 3-4 (2-2)

AIK - Djurgården 0-3 (0-1)
