Turf Shoes

Would using shoes with a bottom like this

on outdoor and indoor artificial turf work well?

It depends on the depth of the carpet fibers and whether they're wet or not.

For a traditional AstroTurf depth (less than 3/4 inch) those shoes work great. Anything else, or if it's wet, you might want to look for something with a bit of a nub, but not quite a full cleat. If you're playing on FieldTurf or one of it's cousins, you'd be best to go with a standard molded.
