The Premiership will be Europe's strongest league in 2 years. In England there are already Class Teams like Arsenal, Chelsea and Man UTD. But now it looks like the Second tear teams are getting stronger. Teams like Liverpool and New Castle. The opposite can be said for teams in Italy and Spain. Over the Past couple years the 2nd Tear teams like Roma, Parma, Lazio, Deportivo, Sociodad, Deportivo and more recently Valencia have been getting worse. They have been loosing their best players, and they Struggle with Massive Debt. Anways, My point is that in about two years, England will be the Strongest League in the World ahead of Italy and Spain.

Have you ever heard of a Period? More importantly, do you know how to create complete sentences?

Germany Better then England? LMAO. You guys only get 3 team to play in the Champions league, I dont see any German Teams going the next round of the CL.

Frane is a Feeder league, Much like Holland and Belgium. Yeah they made it to the CL final, but that dosent make their league any stronger. They have one good team in Monaco, thats it. Dont Start with Portugal, Portos Dream team got Dismanteled when Mourinho left the club. I seriously dont see Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, or Porto winning anything in Europe any time soon.

Are we taking about last year? Liverpool are a different team and there signing better players, I expect them to be twice the team next season then they were last season under Gerrard Houllier.

New Castle arent that Great but I think if they Faced a team like Lazio they would win. My point is that the 2nd Tier Teams in England are getting stronger while the 2nd teir teams in Spain and Italy are getting Weaker. Just look at Roma, Parma, and Lazio.

Saying France is a feeder league in the sense that Holland and Belgium is, is grossly wrong and an insult. France is a much stronger league than the other two, all teams are financially stable, and they are able to get and keep better players.
As for Monaco being the only good team, they arent even the best team. You can add Lyon and Lille to the other good teams. Marsielle, PSG, and Auxerre also have potential to be up there.

The French League is better then the Dutch and Belgium league but the fact still remain that they are a feeder league. All the Best French Players Move on too other leagues. Its a fact.

When I say "Best Team" I mean in Europe. I believe Monaco will go farther then Lyon in the CL this year. Marseille went to the UEFA cup final last year but much like Porto, they lost some of there best players in Drogba and Flamini. PSG were horrible this year. Im not saying France is a Bad League, but lets be honest. Its not on the Same Level as the Top 3 European leagues. I dont think it will ever be again.

Neo the same argument can be made for Spain. There is no denying that Real Madrid and Valencia have been weak, but we all know Real has the money to revive themselves and the latter has been plagued with injuries. Having said that one could say that Spain has 3 top class clubs. Besides them, Spain has Sevilla coming up as a quality club and others that can be up there such as Deportivo, Espanyol, Betis, Athl Bilbao, and Atl Madrid.
The point you made is very fair when concerning Italy.
And to add something to my last post, I am more with you than hoop. IMO France and Portugal don't touch England and Germany is not better.

You are correct, it is a fact, just wanted to give it it's credit.
As for France never being on the same level as the top 3, it will come down to FIFA or UEFA. The French FA has very strict financial policies. IIRC teams are not allowed to be in debt or if they are it is a very small number; below 100,000 I believe. If the top leagues enforced such rules France would most likely be the best league for a while.

I don't know how Monaco will go further than Lyon in the CL.
They lost their three best offensive players in Rothen, Guily, and Morinetes. Although they replaced Morientes with Saviola and Chevanton, they never really replaced Rothen And Guily. As a matter of fact, I think part of the reason why monaco lost against porto in the CL league final was because of Guily's departure due to injury. Compare Monaco to Lyon, and I think LYon is the much better and more balanced team.
In regards to Marseille, Flamini to my recollection wasn't a regular for Marseille, he was part of reserve and youth set up. I actually think thaty Marseille is a better overalll team now beause of drogba's departure. They've gotten Lizarzu (although he's leaving for Munich), Dehu, Bamogo, Costa, Pedretti, Luyindula and some others that I can't think of the top of my head.
I don't think Ligue 1 is on the same level as one of the Big 4, but the level of play is increasing exponentially. I think that in future, it will rival the German league. Just my two cents.

One of the questions here is how much importance should CL results have in determining the quality of a league? For example, Feynoord, Ajax and PSV could be making the CL finals every year and it still wouldn't make the Dutch Eredivisie a better league than Italy's Serie A.

I think EUROPE, not only the CL, should be around 40%...however you could factor that tho...

i think epl is the best league in europe. for many different reasons. but talking purely about how strong the competition for the league is then italy tops us by a bit and we're close to spain. talking about competition relative to the other teams in the league, england are the best.

Roma, Lazio, and Parma go down while Palermo, Udinese, and Fiorentina grow. Whats your point? That because Tottenham is having a good season the Premiership will magically transform into the best league in the world? False (Or at the very least, how can we tell?). Everything works in cycles amongst European leagues and within those leagues themselves. Perhaps England is about to undertake a cycle of its own? In my opinion, until a Premiership side wins the Champions League again since 1999, until more teams in England start to employ tactics other than 4-4-2, until defences stop letting Henry dance by them without being touched. . . England will have to settle with being ONE of the strongest European Leagues.
