Date of birth: 7 January 1950
Revered by Newcastle fans, MacDonald first came to prominence with Luton where he scored over 50 goals in two seasons in the lower English league divisions. His tally proved enough to impress Newcastle into investing £180,000 (€255,430) in May 1971 to bring the Londoner to Tyneside. Their faith was repaid, with MacDonald quickly establishing himself as a top-flight striker, scoring a hat-trick on his home debut at St James' Park against Liverpool FC.

Happy Beefday sonna. Met him once. And he has the most monotanous (sp)drone you would ever believe. Honestly. That guy could bore a plank to sleep. Piece of crap info here.
