The Mirror is a crap paper with crap stories. Tommy isn't going anywhere.

... at least not until the summer...

They can Fcuk off, 2million my arse. Swap deal for Zidane and they might have a deal.

Seems unlikely that Real would want him. No offense guys, I like graveson and all, but could you really see him in Spain? Its not the sort of player they generally go for...

...Zidane in swap + 2 million. I want some of what your smoking :)

Two mil? Pish.

Besides, wouldn't Gravs want to be on a squad that might actually win something? ;)

I know 2 million is not enough, but how much do you think real would pay for a player that only has 6 months left on his contract??Gravesens contract does finish this summer,or am i wrong???

Yes, Gravs' contract is up this summer, but the fact that he's made a commitment to play out the whole contract and said he's willing to sign on again if we reach Europe tells me we can hang onto him.

He really is our engine in midfield and two mil wouldn't be nearly enough to replace him. I think we'll take our chances with keeping him and shooting for Europe ... if we miss out and he shuffles off to the continent, so be it.

Bad news!I guess its desicion time for the everton boared! You can either sell him for a cut price or risk lossing him at the end of season for free!!Im telling you, same thing happened with the owen deal.one minute he says hell stay and the next minute hes a real player!

I hope he stays until the end of the season at least that way we will have a better chance at getting a Champs League spot. He may decide to stay if we do. But if he did go to Real he would only be warming the bench for them as I can't see him playing week in week out like he is now he'll be used as a squad player and maybe get the odd game now and then.

double whammy i hear - they will use the money they get from RS to finance a bid for Graveson

well,i on the other hand, think hell play lots of games for real!real are right now using guti and beckham as the central midfielders, and everyone know NEITHER of them are CM,so gravesen wont have a problem beating beckham or guti for the CM spot, and i think gravesen knows that!

Well, its sad to see that the money for the bid will be the same money we payed real for moro!

Real need a better passing Defensive midfielder then Thomas really but he does fit their need at least. He'd hold the middle will. It'd be a huge loss for you guys. Sorry tosee the financial muscle winning out yet again.
They say they might be lining up Dacourt for a return, what's the feeling on that ??.

Let's not count our chickens, fellas. When Tommy's wearing a Real shirt, then you can talk about how well he will or won't fit into their midfield. Right now, he's still a Blue.

I doubt Everton will give up Gravesen for just 2 million since Gravesen could be the deciding factor as to whether the Toffees make the Champions League.

However, if Real ups the offer to 4 or 5 million, then, its goodbye, Thomas, I'm afraid.

I'm so pissed about the speculation...I know Gravesens agent is all behind this. If we keep Gravesen we have a very good shot at a European spot, without him...it will be near impossible.

Now there's this story from the Guardian, making it sound like it's a done deal:

Seems to have been through at least a couple rewrites.

The whole thing makes me sick. Why can't he stick it out until summer like he said he would?

From everything I've read, I almost think this is more his agent stirring the pot than Gravs himself.

At least that's what I'm hoping....

Of course, the conspiricist in me has to wonder if this sale is just to bring in funds and soften the blow when the Fortress Sports Fund money either doesn't come at all or comes in well below what we were hoping....
