It depends on the material.

What colour scheme F50s are they?

If they're the black/yellow ones then the only bits that need blacking out are plastic so some sort of paint would work best.

i just picked up some paint for car interiors. On the can it says it can be used with leather, vinyl, plastic and fabric materials. It worked on my champagne manias, so it should work on any pair of f-50's

Hmm... I don't know what would be best for that fabric. You could try fabric paint but it's probably expensive and a pain to do. You could spray paint but you can't be accurate with that.

Anyone else got any ideas?

1) looks

2) cleanbility

3) customisation

4) the opportunity to use the line "oh, these?! yeah, i'm testing prototypes for adidas"

the above four reasons persuaded me to buy my infamous mi adidas blacked out pulses :D

The paint stays on real well. I put 3 coatings on the leather, and one on the bottom. The paint on the leather stays like it was natural, but the pain ton the bottom chips, but i'll fix that with a couple layers. after it dried, I put some dubbin on it which softened is up. just fine some car paint for leather interiors. On the tounge i blacked it out then went over the stripes in red nail polish.

On this board you'll need it hosted somewhere. If you don't have any webspace go and register a free trial account at www.uploadit.org - it's very handy!

Then you just pop the URL between these tags:

Thats pretty cool but what about when it gets when and stuff like that, and does it affect the touch at all, it looks kind of slippery and like it would chip eventually and make the leather tear if it hardened or something like that.

after the leather paint dries, the boot does stiff up but I just rubbed on some leather softner and thats why they are so shinny. later on once the softner soaked into the leather i polished them. I put on 2 coats of the paint, and loaded it on the second time because the paint had trouble sticking to the heel. you may need to do some touch ups around the heel, and bottom of the boot if you care what that looks like (personally i dont). As far as the leather ripping, i dont think it would happen if you get the right paint.

If you use leatehr paint, the paint will soak up into the leather and it will be just like having black boots in the first place.
