I don't think Leverkusen has an Umlaut.
it does not

Yes, but sometimes, deep down, don't you wish it did?

Well, yes, I do wish it did. And I'm guilty as charged, with taking liberties with the artistic license.
Just go with it, people. :)

He definitely is not going to start straight out of the gate, but he will more than likely get some time hopefully and work his way up to a starting position if he decides to bring his game to every game and not slack off like he has done at times in MLS. I think his future in Germany is pretty promising.

Donovan doesn't play forward - they're using him in midfield. Ain't nobody gonna displace Berbatov.

[QUOTE=babytiger2001]Forgot to mention that the debut match on 1/23 has Bayer Leverküsen away to Hannover 96 (featuring Steve Cherundolo).
We have MBA players and ............. athletes who are vertically challenged..................LD to come into the game in the second half and wins the starting position at AM

I have the same attitude that Landon apparently has- no big deal if he doesn't start the first few games, just eventually give him his opportunity if his play warrants it. Here's another point why I think he will be successful. Besides his overall talent, he's technically sound and very quick. Unlike lesser athletes, he will adjust to the faster speed of play quite well. And don't forget, a lot of the touches and passes to and from San Jose teammates were not always successful because he played with lesser talents (no offense, Quakes fans). That won't be a problem with Leverkusen.

Come off the bench, play only as a late-game sub

He will definitely be able to hang with them. Expect him to be a very influential player

I dont see him breaking into the starting eleven, he might start a match here and there, but no more than that.
