Buh-bye Zamora!

Just send him somewhere ... would be ideal for a Conference side.

Defoe to Chelsea (sorry, WHU reserves???????????)
No one can afford to spend the money we would command for Reo-C or Ethers. I think they will stay.
Bye Bye Bobby Z. (we WILL NOT miss you)
Harewood maybe sold for the money. (2-3 mill. can't be bad)
We should be able to get Ashton or someone who can score in and maybe dump Lomas and Hutch in the process.
UP THE HAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is Brevett still injured? If he is healthy and just not playing, send him on.

I think that Zamora will go regardless of the money we get for him. Hopefully Hibs will take Hutch off our books. Sofiane may as well go and I wouldn't be surprised to see Rebrov released (although I would like to see him get some time on the park!). I'd also like to see us release Lomas somewhere but this might be tough.

The only player that I think we would sell (providing the money is right) is Harewood. If we get an offer of 1.5 million plus then I could see him going. Trouble is trying to replace him. People talk about Dean Ashton but if the reports are right, Spurs offered 2 million and got knocked back. Our offer of free fish and chips every friday just wouldn't look too tempting!!!

Are there any good stikers in the two divisons below us? The last one that I can remember coming up was Dave Kitson at Reading and I think he has done reasonably well there.

Zamora definitely, and if we can offload Hutch and his huge salary then hopefully that'll be the end of it - for now. Saying that however, I've got a horrible feeling that Ethers may be off - but hang on, didn't one of Brownstain's cronies say only last week that "there'll be no firesale"?

Sounds familiar...

Sleepy is gone. Stoke will offer the chips on Fridays and we'll take it.

Reo: That is up to Everton and if they drop £ 2.5 on him.

Hutch: He should look at MLS, Budweiser is readily available. Actually Hearts have to be looking for players.

I can't see Pardew letting NRC or Ethers go without a fight, unless a couple of the Academy players are closer to being ready that we know (Noble for one).

I think either Zamora or Harewood will go, probably Harewood 'cos we'd get more for him on account of the fact that he knows where the ******* goal is.

We can't get rid of both because that would only leave us with Teddy and Rebrov and we could easily find ourselves playing a defender up front again if that was allowed to happen.

I'd rather hang on to Dailly but Lomas and especially Hutch can p!ss right off. I think both their contracts expire in the summer so they can go frees then, which means nobody's going to give us any money for them now, especially given their PL wages versus their Conference performances (on the rare occassions that they show up at all).

The sensible short term solution IMHO is dump Harewood for 1.5Mill and bring in at least one, preferably two, David Bently quality loanees from the Prem. I'm not proud at this point I'd be happy with Marney from the Spuds but I don't see them letting him go now.

I've just realised what I've typed 'sensible solution'.......West Ham........Naaaaaah!

I agree that Lomas has had his time, but don't think we need to have him "p!ss-off"! (I could be biased, because of his international career). He's been a pretty loyal servant and I thought always gave it his all. The last couple of years have been tough with injuries. So, yes, let's send him on his way, but not without showing our appreciation for a fellow that always got stuck-in!

I get your point TH, I didn't mean it to sound that way in his case but, as you say, his time is up and he'll leave with my thanks too.
