In my research, I found that it's cheaper to rent a car in the US, than in Germany. When I went, I reserved it from the US, and paid with credit card in Germany. I don't know how it would work from Brasil.what sort of car?

what sort of car?

Like any car rental company, there were numerous choices. We had a Volvo for the four of us for 17 days travel in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Czech Republic. It cost a little extra to take the car in to the Czech Republic, but the costs there and the experiences were worth it.

But of course... The house we found to rent is some big assed house I guess. All I know is the pics we have seen it is almost as big as our house here in Brasil. It has 8 bedrooms and a large backyard, no pool which kind of sucks but we can deal with it.
The house was on the market for more than a year and with the ownerspassing away the sonwho is dealing with the estate has agreed to let us rent it then. We got all the paper work today at the office and am faxing it first thing tomorrow.

All I know is at WC2002 the party we had in Japan was memorable, it ended 5 days later with over 3000 people signing our guest book. It was truly fun time and I cant wait for the next one. Ohhh the girls from all over...

Well as many of us already know the WORLD CUP is mearly 18 months away... With all the venues and such already decided my question is about accomadations during the cup.

At the last 2 WC we have bought a house in the host nation and it has worked out really well since we have always picked a good point from where to travel from. USA was impossible to do this for. What I would like to know is what is the average price of a 3 bedroom house in a location that we can travel to most venues by car( which we will also purchase when arriving). Would staying in hotel be reasonable? House must be able to be sold after also no time restraints just so we know.

Ballpark would be great but I am sure there are some real estate agents from Germany that use this site ( I hope anyways ).

Thank you for your responces.

Ricardo

That's the best thing I've ever heard.
Ok a Goldmine Company did the same here 2 years ago.

But they payed over 3.000.000 Dollar for that and only for 2 weeks.

But it`s cool.

PS: here we build real stonehouses.

Hi everybody,

Me and my friends (we're 4 in total) are looking for a flat to rent during the World Cup, as there is nothing left on hotels or hostels. Does anyone know where can I get this info from or is anyone renting their own flat? Ideally it would be a place near Hanover or somewhere around as we will be following the Mexican team on the cup. We play on Nuremberg (11th June), then Hanover (16th June) and Gelsenkirchen (21st June) and hopefully will stay alive for more rounds as possible!!!

I will really appreciate your help!!!!! ThX

Googe result after typing "travel germany":
http://www.google.de/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Ade-DE%3Aofficial_s&hl=de&q=travel+germany&meta=&btnG=Google-Suche
Keywords, like: "hannover hotels" ... give also some info

It´s hard for me to answer your questions,
but if you take a hotel in the surronding area,
it´s important, that the town has a good train connection,
if you don´t take a car with you.
(you can get info at: http://www.bahn.de (German Railroad company),
but it´s in German)

People, who rent flats can be found e.g. here (search engines help here, too)
http://wm-zimmer.immowelt.de/Immobilien/ImmoDetail.aspx?ID=5586090
The person there e.g. offers a flat for 6 persons for 60€ per day.
IMO this is cheap, but i would try to get as much information as possible.
