This is great to see for a guy who has really hung-in to keep chasing his dream...he was making nothing, dropped down to the Kickers over the years and is finally appreciated by the champs.

Namoff was my favorite player this season because of the way he hung in there when it looked as if he would be ignored. Nellie said he voted for him as DCU Defender of the Year. I hope he got a whopping raise, 'cause on the basis of bang for buck he was at the top of the DCU chart in 2004.

Namoff is my favorite player too. His heart and determination are inspirational. I brought my non-soccer fan cousin and his kids to a game and Namoff impressed him the most. He kept saying, "Wow, that guy hustles his ass off!" Namoff signed the kids' shirts and took a picture with all of them after the game. He's a really great guy in my book. And I hope he got a big raise.

Probably 32K a year for 4 years (all league option)

This is good news to start a new year.
Namoff has shown he deserves a raise, no doubt.

Bryan always goes that extra mile to ensure that the fans go home satisfied.

I love this photo of Bryan. The guy is tough and deserves a lot of thanks for his work.

He's one of the under appreciated on our squad, and hope that this year he will continue to be as successful as in 04.

Definately a blue collar type player that every team needs.

After this season, I wouldn't call him under appreciated locally. League-wide, yes, but then more pictures like this on the front page of mlsnet couldn't hurt:

This is most deserving. Bryan is utter class on and off the field. I only dream that one day he may actually catch the eye of one Bruce Arena, although that day is still in the future.

He is from my hometown and is our lone professional actively in the MLS. Great kid who comes from a great family. Best of luck to him. DC fans know what we have known for years. He is the real deal.

p.s. his nickname in high school was "nympho". Don't ask.

I think a call-in to a USMNT camp is perfectly reasonable. Bryan is fast, a very good man marker, knows what to do when he goes forward, and is a very accurate passer. Dolo is clearly the front-runner for right back on the US team, but I think Bryan is much better than Hejduk (who can't pass) and a better choice than Albright. I know Bruce loves Tony Sanneh, but I doubt he will go for a reprise of WC2002 as Tony will be a bit aged by then, I think.
