So, who else wants to make their feelings known in Baltimore on Jan. 14?

Thinking of making a sign?

Thinking of making a sign?
Most of the words I want to use are too big to fit on my gut.

. . . . ahhhhhh, it's just too easy.
Signs, schmines. I think there needs to be some chants.

Or how about an old-school "Let Them Play" a la the Bad News Bears? :D

take some american flags and chant "let them play"
and have the smallest guy there run around with security chasing him... and don't stop til they get to play

"Save the Wizards" is a better idea.

sorry... i know how you feel
but that team will survive... somewhere, somehow.. hopefully in kc
wcq is much closer and far more important at the moment... the owners got their stadium money, they get kick backs from ussf all the time... they can listen

My point is that it's the MLS SuperDraft - no the USSF SuperDraft.

doesn't matter... there are no national games to go to
ussf has mls under it's control... it has plenty of relevance

My point is that it's the MLS SuperDraft - no the USSF SuperDraft.
No, Andy, it's the MLS SuperDraft, overseen by a member of the USSF Executive Board, held at an event featuring representatives from all levels of U.S. soccer as well as the coach of the Brazilian men's national team, representatives of the English FA and organizations represented in the USSF power structure.
And it's on television.
I'm not suggesting going "Soy Bomb" or anything, but just because it's an MLS event and not the USSF AGM does not mean it's inapproproate to bring some attention to what is, in my mind at least, the most important issue in American soccer at this time.
I'm down with campaigning to save the Wizards. I hope people bring attention to the San Jose situation. Hell, I'd even be up for something supporting the stadium in Harrison.
But the MLS Draft does not exist in a vaccuum.

You have my full support :D
Don't know what you could do - something that would embarass both sides.
That while 150,000 died less than 3 weeks ago and hundreds of thousands more are now homeless and many likely to die - the USSF is sitting on 30 million dollars and priveleged athletes who are already well paid want more money. So both sides fight and nothing happens.
Something like that.

The closest thing we did that approached embarrassing both sides was the "3-6-1" chant when LA called a timeout.
:o
I just couldn't think of anything that would express my disgust at both sides that could be compressed into a pithy chant.

In the end, I was too pissed at anyone to do anything. I just didn't care by the time I got there. Saw Bruce in the parking garage, but didn't realize it was him until too late. We wanted to offer our services. :D
