A hard fought result for the 1800-Worldcup.com team.... and much needed after the narrow defeat to Finchley Road.
The underachievers may well be replaced for our next match against the Aviators, where we expect a full house and hope to give the fans plenty to shout about.

Looks like the new Clanblues X1 are full of attacking spirit..... the transfers are beginning to pay off....

Not only did he not get carded, but you picked up a clean sheet bonus as well..also doubled.
I think i will launch an official FA inquiry as to why this game should be counted :)
Results of inquiry
Having reviewed the above complaint we have decided the following....
A)Commendation should be given to the chap from Liverpool for the astuteness to have a player in the squad, wether transfered in specifically or not, that could earn "double points".
Also commendation recommended for the alertness to have him receive the Captains armband to double the double points.
B)When it comes to football scousers are always lucky :)

If this keeps up i'll have come out ahead before November is over.
This is exactly what i hoped for when i cost myself all those points by doing it all at once rather than piecemeal.

Funny stuff. I didn't pick Sinclair in the live draft for this game. But noticing I had him in for the double matches meant that switching to him as skipper this week was a no-brainer.
Funnily enough so of my other team members have let me down. Enckleman is gone, though when I saw that replay on skysports I was disgusted. He should never have been red carded. Luckily there was no real penalty for his own goal earlier in the season.
The last minute West Ham goal was a god send and that's the great thing about these fantasy things, I listened to the whole WH-Fulham match via the net yesterday, just to see if I could get Sinclair points and spoil the Fulham clean sheet. I need to get a life :)

I saw the tackle on the highlights show yesterday...absolutely no question it was a penalty.
Want to hear a funnier one mate.
I'll bet i have stood within a 100 yards or so of you about 17 years or so ago when i was at Anfield.
I was there at the end of '85.
That was the only time i ever made it up to Anfield, what with us being in the second and me being in the army 'n all.

No question. Nice pen from DeCanio too.

Ha Ha...i'm sure you know that score of that game quite well.
One of the best i had ever been at away from home despite the 4-3 loss.

You got me, NE Revs manager Steve Nicol scored two that day if I remember right.

Well, since we had our first loss of the season to Kopite juniors and are currently tied for second place, the possibility of goal difference is now a very real factor in advancing to the quaters....or second round if we don't want to end the comp too early....so i took a look see....

Are any of the other Big Soccer posters even aware that we are doing this.
It seems like it is just us from the drafted league that are posting.

I am not sure, I did post it in the forum on the premierleague.com site but it has long faded away.

I notice in these leagues that a lot of managers select a team and stick with it through thick and thin.
Teams not making transfers, or at least squad shuffling, to take account of form and match-ups tend to drift off the pace and see their squad value plumet.
If your team isn't making money, it's hard to strengthen your squad after Christmas.
I've got no worries about Hal..... even if he's not posting he's always tweaking his team and making good use of the transfer market to build team value.....
Looking forward to seeing his team line-up in a little under half an hour.

Hal...manager of Tribe warriors (http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/eventhist.mc?id=611188&event=11)
Against Clanblues X1 (http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/myteam.mc)
Critical early game as we are tied on points and i am behind him on goal difference.
Hopefully i can sort out both situations with a good performance today.
Fukin Vieira geting a suspension didn't help.
He's outta here on the free transfer next week.

Well, if you can't score 'em...get the points for the assist.
Both Geremi and Shearer pick up points for the assists.
How about those fukin Villians.?
Here i am thinking i'm a smart fella (no jokes please lads) by making giggs my Captain this week as the Villa haven't even scored an away goal yet, never mind a win....and the Bast@rds take a 0-1 away lead at the half....effin typical.

Just 25 points this week compared to 61 last week.
I think a second defeat is on the cards.

Still in the running for a win.
Opponenet only garnered 19 points...plus 1 to come for an auto sub.
3 players to play today for the warriors, not much hope but not out of it yet.
A wee bit of tweaking with the team still remains to be done.
Can't beleive fu(kin Fergie rested Giggs...w@nker.

I'm a bit of a late arrival to this cup thing. Hadn't realised it was going on.
Though it's nice to see that in my absence, my team, Excelsior Novgorod is tearing up the competition.
Maybe I should ignore it for longer.
