Cass75,
So are you a WHUFC supporter? I have a small place in my heart for them. Their supporters are die-hard.
You sound like a Chicago sports fan with your comment about being the story of your life...lol.

Monaco should have had 4 or 5 goals. Saviola played really well. Plasil did too. I'm a big fan of his. Semak didnt play too badly for his first game. Monaco have 5 legit goal scorers(Saviola,Chevanton,Kallon,Adebayor,Nonda) while PSG only have 2(Pauleta,Ljuboja)and the latter hardly ever starts. They arent using Semak as a striker. If I were PSG I would try to sign Nonda or Saviola for next year because they probably wont be back at Monaco. Coridon and Cana are horrible. I dont know how you PSG fans can tolerate them. I wasnt too impressed with Helder either. Just way too many mediocre players on the pitch for PSG. They need to start spending their money more wisely.

I think it has been established that they suck (insert favorite animal here) balls.
Coridon looks like he's playing pick-up co-ed soccer at the park. He's got talent, no doubt about it though.
I can't believe Mendy played for France.
Armand is not bad.
How many times has Super Mario Yepes saved the team from disaster. I don't count anymore.
Semak ... well, at least, he knows how to take a corner. He looks out of shape though. Needs a few games.
Pauleta gets so few balls during the game, it's pathetic.
The midfield is just absent. Reinaldo does what he can.
Seeing Ljuboja on the bench just pisses the heck out of me.
The coach must go, no doubt about it. But I am not sure if somebody is willing to replace him. Should have gotten Troussier, oh well.

You're both right even if Mendy and Cana are not so bad, they were awfull on last sunday but PSG fans still love them.
Hopefully we've got SuperMario and Letizi to avoid the complete disgrace.Mario don't deserve to play in this team and i'm quite sad about that :(

#I'm forever blowing bubbles........# :D
hehe.
Damn, great venue, good food, cheap laughs, nice trip but s***t result.
Merci to:
The staff of Monaco football club for looking after us
PSG players for anther dire performance.
The local Nice gendarmerie
Javier Saviola for giving us an autograph, and I think the guy who scored the second goal Lucas Bernardi was it?
The lovely people of Easyjet - I salute you.
Smirnoff vodka and Coca-cola soft drinks - a lethal combo.
Flew to Nice, got a bus to a town just outside of Monaco called Roquebrune, which sits behind a gigantic mountainous backdrop. All the little roads wind up the hillside. We had to walk into the *country* And yes it is a country. We sat down at lovely litle restraunt and had a nice late lunch (not that expensive too - same as central Paris!) The ground is pretty neat and very artistic. Its actually quite a nice ground but the action is far away from the stands and it kinda of inhbits the action somewhat. Great stuff. Sat in the so called neutral area. Mainly PSG fans as you would expect. It was nice to sit in a place where you could cheer on the away team and not fear for your life.
We simply got outclassed start to finish. Kallon's goal was sick. First time volley from a long pass by Evra and he drove it into the far corner, duped Armand who blamed the PSG defence who had gone missing. Was a great goal, but our defending on crosses is very dodgy.
Second half was much the same. So-so, no real intent from Paris at all. They hit the bar after a header from *another* cross. It was almost indentical to the goal we gave away at home to Istres last week.
Their second goal was pretty good, we got overun in the midfield. No-one picked up Bernardi who ran into the box, everyone watching someone else. Good break after a cute Evra pass and he fired it simply past Lionel. Way too easy.
2-0. I gave my Man of the match to Evra, who set up both goals. All in all a fair result I would say. Maybe 1-0, but you can't be fussy.
Semak for me was a bit ineffective and it was a bad game to judge his talents. Made a good pass to Yepes and Roma pulled off a good save.
Afterwards we met most of the players and left the Prinicpality into the late hours. Too much alcohol, too much time. Still I would go back any time. If I lived on the south coast, I'd probably there to watch games. Nice trip, a must for any fan who wants to experience Ligue 1 football.

Next up is Lens at the Parc.
They are struggling big time. Have a shocking defence and we should win by at least 2-0.
Semak's home debut, lets hope the former horse can score.

Ganu,
Your trip sounded great all except for PSG sucking it up on the pitch. You mentioned that Monaco outclassed PSG...that, my friend, is an understatement. I may be across The Pond, but I can see a thorough beating even via the tele.

Was very nice thank you. Just a shame that PSG couldn't match the trip. Oh well. Free tickets. I ain't complaining. :D

You thought Evra was the man of the match I thought it clearly was Plasil. Oh well you were there in person so you had a better look. sSorry but I still think Coridon and Cana completely suck and you will not convince me otherwise.

Plasil was very good in the midfield. But our midfield was totally non-existant, so I could have played and given the PSG centre a run around. Evra for me made the difference. His delivery and overall play was flawless imo. He created both goals with truely sublime passes.

This is interesting. Found it on l'Equipe. Apparently, PSG and Lens will wear all white and all black kits this weekend as part of a campaign against racism.
