Another effing scoreless draw to start the 2nd half of this season. As PSG fans, we must acknowledge the fact that this squad is not good enough to compete for anything. These last two matches are proof that this squad can't score for s**t. Especially against two scrub teams like Caen and Toulouse. Coach Vahid is another reason why PSG is effing up this season. His outright refusal to use Ljuboja as part of the tandem with Pauleta has diminished the scoring capabilities of this team. That tandem propelled PSG into 2nd place last season and since that time it has been a struggle to score even one goal. Seeing a scoreline of more than two goals by PSG has been rare. Also Coach Vahid has pissed off a lot of players on this team such as Ljuboja and Ogbeche. It seems to me that the squad is turning off from Vahid's coaching just by these two matches. Vahid does not inspire the players to play beyond their capabilities. VAHID HAS TO GO BYE-BYE!!!
I'd be careful calling TFC a scrub team these days. 6th place pretty much speaks for itself. A scrub team would have to be someone who doesn't have a clue, like Istres or Bastia, just to name a couple.

"Scrub team." A few years ago, we would have obliterated teams like Toulouse.

Why does PSG hate OM? You would think they would hate a club closer to Paris, not on the other side of the country.

PSG represents the north bourgois of France, whilst Marseille represents the working class South. Its like the two capitals of the South v North.
Generally spekaing the rivalry goes beyond football. Its a culutral thing in France too. People from Paris don't like people from Marseille. Its always been like that.

Not for long. Toulouse will never be a "big" club. They can only dream of achieving a small percentage in their 70 odd years that PSG have acheived in just over 30 years.

So is OM the agrarian/working class/seaport uncultured South and PSG is the rich/right-wing/educated elitists?
Would a fare American comparision be, New Yorkers vs. Southerners??
Thanks.
Btw, I consider myself an educated, middle class, open-minded, down-to-Earth.

St Etienne vs. PSG is the next match on the fixture list. PSG are coming off of a disappointing draw. PSG will be looking to bounce back in a big way, if they want to stay in the hunt for a European spot.
My prediction for this match is a 1-1 draw.

In a way, yes. But obviously the European social structure is different.
You must be a Clermont Ferrand fan then......lol :D

We aren't trying to be a big club. Considering how Paris-centric France is, it's pretty shameful that you don't dominate more (or at all). And I remind you that I wasn't the one who went running around talking sh1t first...

its too late for this s***t.
What the ******** do you want me to say? Yes we are going to get beat 8-0 tomorrow. Come on. It doesn't work like that.
Fans taunt other fans, other fans talk s***t. Fans like football teams. Football teams that are s***t. Head over to the Newcastle board and see what I mean.

You should write to M. Graille and find out how ********ed up this club is.

Who is "we"? I'm just trying to figure out who you represent. You've bothered to place Napoli on your profile, but you're acting as if TFC is your club, yet you've not publicly affirmed that support.
Once we clear that up, I'd then like to know why you are sweating what Paris does? Over a draw? Over 6th place? Come on...

PSG COULD APPEAL STADIUM BAN (http://www.sportinglife.com/football/overseas/france/news/story_get.dor?STORY_NAME=international_feed/05/01/14/SOCCER_Fra-Paris_St_Germain__Correction.html&TEAMHD=france)
Paris St Germain could decide to appeal against the decision of the French league to make them play a game behind closed doors.
The decision from LFP's disciplinary commission, which was handed in on Thursday evening, is to punish the club for the incidents that occured during PSG's Ligue 1 match against Metz on December 18.
PSG supporters from the Auteuil and Boulogne stands threw rockets and smoke canisters on the pitch, while a refreshments stall was taken apart and dropped onto a lower-level of the stand which was fortunately empty.
But club president Francis Graille feels the club's real supporters should not be made the victims.
"I regret that decision to make us play one match behind closed doors," he said.
"Our supporters will be deprived of the showdown, so we will give ourselves some time to decide whether or not to appeal against the decision.
"The commission considered that what happened needed a sanction, and I understand that, but it will be the real supporters that suffer."
President of the commission, Jacques Riolacci, added: "The incidents that occured during the match between PSG and Metz were serious.
"A refreshments stall weighing 100 kilos was dismantled and thrown, we had to take a measure."
The sanction is set to take effect as from Monday, which means PSG will play their match against Istres on January 26 behind closed doors, should they choose not to appeal.
If they do, their request will be submitted to the French football federation and could delay the application of the sanction.

 just get it over with a be done with it. Better Istres than Lyon or OM...

Toulouse is the 4th largest French city so theres no reason why they cant be a big club. Bordeaux, Nantes, and St Etienne used to be big clubs and those cities are smaller than Toulouse.

But for the record, the "we" was in reference to Toulouse.
I was speaking to ganu who should be very familiar with who I support, considering a Moreira shirt was my avatar for quite some time, not to mention I had a very good quote from another TFC fan on this board regarding the first game against you guys (should have left that sig through this game but alas I didn't feel like it). Variety is the spice of life as they say and I like to swap things around...
I frankly don't care what PSG does. Ganu started some good old fashioned fan banter in another thread (nothing wrong with that), I of course as the fan of the rival team responded, and we started exchanging banter over three different threads. End of story. Now it's Monday. Let's move on with our lives.

It's all good, ganu. The sh1t talking certainly made the game more interesting. Lord knows I've talked so much sh1t over the years. Hell, I still talk sh1t about Serie A clubs as a Napoli fan. :D ;)

Well water under the bridge my friend. We need banter, otherwise these matches would be really dull. Next season, I may actually go to Toulouse, seeing as I lived not too far from there (Bayonne in the Basque country to be exact.)
I'm going on holiday now, God damn do I need it!
So Allez PSG! And win some ********ing games whilst I'm away.
btw: A few people have told me that the stadium ban won't happen. The sponspors and coporate buisnesses we have are much more powerful than the LFP, let me tell you.
