Finally, some good football news. Great way to start the new year. Beating the living sh** out of a lesser side always makes the troubles fade away.
ALLEZ PSG!!!

Next up on the fixture list is Caen (who are 16th on the table). This match is away for PSG, this Wednesday/Jan 12.
This is definately another opportunity for PSG, who is tied for 9th in the table, to climb up a few more spots.
ALLEZ Parisians!

Strange JR not playing......
He travelled to Clairefontaine but I guess the staff didn't think he was ready yet.
But how sweet would it be, to see him score against his former club Caen next week?.........:)
I just hope we get some decent coverage on C4 now! :D
EDIT: I just remembered that Jerome was suspened for that game.....he will be back next week!

eh? How could he help us then? Do you know how he would improve the setup?
Some news anyways....
We've just been drawn to Bordeaux at home in the cup.
No the best, but at least its at the Parc....

Damn straight, its the definitive album collection bar none. Funny enough, I was at a bar last month - forget the the name and the DJ played this unbelievable Portuguese stuff. Like a chillout, classic Portuguese remix - couldn't get to speak to him though, to find out what it was....
I'm a big fan of a guy called Julien Lourau and his Groove Gang, don't know if you've heard of them. They've been around for a while. Must admit, it was due to the Paris Lounge - where I heard it.
few stormers in my current collection:

Sadly I can't find the cover of Sayag Jazz Machine - Testpressing - but its kinda of like electro samples mixed with cool upbeat jazz. Reall bizarre, but it works. 3am stuff if you ask me....
Kid Loco - Grand Love Story (!!!!) a history of love told through the medium of music.......stirring!
Sadly though, you can indeed buy Paris Lounge 4 in France already (not sure about USA):

Daft Punk opener is sick (off a classic album), Smile by Telepopmusik is heaven and L'etude des Francaisies? ^_^ !!!
And to end? The superlative destroying "Oblivion" by I:Cube.....oh yes! Few duffers though, but pretty much solid stuff throughout.
I think the 5th one will be out in 3 or 4 months (maybe.)
Just a quick Music Break before returning to your regularly scheduled Programs...
I have Paris Lounge 4! Got it the day it came out. It was very good - I too like the Daft Punk song and DJ Cam is one of my favorite dj's. I did like the Iggy Pop feel of "Late at Night", but not for the vocal. "Crik Crak" was sorta cheesy but I dug it... and yeah, I:Cube... y'know, he (is it a he?) is hit-or miss. He had some cuts I didn't like (Ding Ding Ding), then othes that were fresh. "Take You Out Tonight" sounded like something out of a porno. :D I've got all 4 of them so far too - this one was good, the first good, the third good but the 2nd rubbish to me. The same label that does Costes does this series. lol
Hey - one more... this is yet to be released but it looks like it will be very good! Just to keep with the Paris feel...

Caen 0-0 PSG
Bit annoying this result. We really should have won. Had the chances but didn't take them. This is has been the problem for us throughout the season. Can you see why we need Semak, Graille?
Despite the fact, Caen missed a real sitter in the last minute (wayward defending again Paris!) a draw was fair if I was to be truthful.
But draws are no good, we need wins!

It's winning matches like this that would tell me that the PSG of the second half of the season is going to be different than the team of the first half.
Right now, given that performance, it's clear that unless we get difference-makers in midfield and up front, we can look forward to a mid-table finish, if we are lucky.
What's going on in the transfer market? Are we only looking at Semak, or are we maybe really using the scouts to actually do something? Do we really have any money to even spend in the window?
This type of draw really gets me. COME ON!!

I was reading on various Internet sites, that Vahid would prefer Maniche to Semak. In all homesty - so would I...
To be honest, that last minute miss by Caen, shows that luck may be on our side for once.

PSG stadium ban after crowd trouble
PARIS, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Paris St Germain will have to play their next Ligue 1 game behind closed doors because of crowd trouble, the French Professional Soccer League (LFP) said on Thursday.
Play was interrupted during the first half of the 3-0 win over Metz on December 18 when PSG supporters tried to tip over a refreshment stall and ignited flares that covered the pitch in thick smoke.
'The decision will take effect on Monday', the chairman of the League's disciplinary committee Jacques Riolacci said.
'The extent of the events was unequalled. The stands were set ablaze. The danger was real as some people tried to throw a structure over the Metz supporters,' he added.
The club have the right to appeal to the French Football Federation (FFF). If they do, the sanction will be suspended until the final decision. If they don't, PSG will face bottom of the table Istres in camera.
'We'll wait and see', said PSG chairman Francis Graille, who attended the hearing. 'It's a very harsh decision.'
Damn right it is; we don't need any more cash lost out of pocket.

I'm not suprised by this. Remember that we were given a final warning after the Strasbourg game in which several fans caused trouble in the stands.
But in that game, it wasn't at the Parc and it was hooligans from both sides punching eachothers lights out. NOT ultras who are making a point, to the mismanagement of the club.
This is severe and I feel that we have been made an example out of.
The flares, I have no problem with. But its the morons who were causing damage (the few who probably aren't on good terms with the ultras who don't deserve to be given tickets.)
I am all for expressing disatisfaction, but when it turns ugly then its gone too far and its wrong. All the fans of PSG (including me) have been punished and its the few ignorant tossers that have cost us this. They do NOT represent us, me or the club. I don't want to be affliated with them.
Its about time the heads of the supporter groups got together and kicked out this minority. Thankfully the anti-semitic and fascist stuff, which plauged the club for years was eradicated by the club and fans just not standing for it. We can do the same with these idiots who are nothing more but mindless thugs.
That said, I respect every single fan who stands up to opression, hatred, and bigotry and just cheers on the team with their intense passion. Let's keep the Ultra support but get rid of the moronic racailles, who just want to start trouble.
Allez Paris!

These fringe elements that ruin it for the rest of us need to be eliminated from the grounds. It's a shame that the situation is such in so many countries. It's no wonder so many people just stop going to the stadium and watch games on TV instead.

This bites! Just when PSG were starting to turn things around, ok slightly....this garbage happens. When will supporters get a clue and realize that their actions only hurt the club they so dearly love?
