Well it was all going so well until the 72nd minute.

JR was superb and we were defending with gusto and passion, all the players were busting a gut and cashing down lost-balls.

But we possibly gave away some of the silliest goals, I have ever seen in my life. The 1st one, wtf was Alonzo doing? He seemed to fall over as he went for the ball and completely dived the wrong way.

2nd half, we sat back and allowed Auxerre to attack, when we went forward. It was enivtable really, but the manner in which we tried to tackle, or shall I say piss-out, was truly deplorable. What the hell were they thinking? Put a boot in!!!!!!!! Benjani just strolled past the limp and effortless challenges

The 3rd was also crap defending, we just seemed to lose all organisation and allowed Akale to control the ball inside the box and give him the space to shoot. Disgrace.

So from a position were we playing some fine stuff, we go and blow it with some shoddy defending. PSG must learn to keep control and keep cool. They were like schoolchildren when Auxerre got in the box. FFS - PUT A TACKLE IN!!!!!!!!!!

Disgraceful , but don’t let that fool you, we played really well, its just a shame that Pauleta was missing, otherwise I think we could have won this. But the defending was awful on the 2nd and 3rd Paris, that wouldn’t be out of place in the amateur leagues.

So - Attack = very good

Work-rate = Exceptional

Defending = utter dog turd

We have to start to defend better PSG and not give away silly childish goals. They just seem to lose it for a brief moment. After the 2nd goal, everyone seemed lost.

No way if AJA play like that then they deserve to win this. I could have jigges my way across the 786 failed tackles in the PSG box.........ffs Paris!

I'll be suporting the only non-French team in it, Monaco! :)

Sure seems like PSG has totally given up on this season and are just going thru the motions to finish up the Ligue 1 schedule.

So is the problem a money issue...not enough cash to get quality players?
Bad management in the boardroom?
Bad player managers on the pitch?
Terrible play by the current players?
Players underachieving?

Or finally is PSG just kidding themselves and their supporters and really they are not a powerhouse club at all in France?

Some good indivdual players
But crap as a team
Managment is a disgrace
Underachieved big time last year, and now can't find that form. The likes of Cana et al played way above themselves and are now being found out.

They are a big club. But are just badly ran.

The most important question is does the PSG chairman and front office realize all this and care or are clueless?

At first he was clueless. But when the supporters started to protest it became bitterly apparent to him.

We spotted it in September.

Okay, here's how it should go down for Nantes. I don't care what anyone else thinks, by saying that we should change it tactically to suit who are playing, we should play our best XI - no question.

Letizi

Pichot /Mendy----Yepes---PFF----Armand

Pancrate---Cisse-----Semak-----Rothen

Ljubo---------Pauleta

I'm not a fan of PFF, but you just know that he will start. Play this from the start and we will win. Eddy can play more defensively and allow Semak to pull the strings in midfield. Rothen and Pancrate can bomb down the wings. And we can have the trusted Pauleta / Ljubo combo up front.

This has been the one main weakness for us this year, not playing our best XI when they are all fit. When Cana and M'Bami are back, then we can supplement Cisse in the centre. Coridon and Reinaldo should remain sub options.

I really like this team, above all the wings and the Lubo & Pedro combo.

Ljubo drops to the bench for Reinaldo.......

What is going on? Why do the PSG staff torment us with this eternal game of mental chess?

Nice to see us play Pancrate and Rothen down the wings. PFF is out and in comes Helder. Pretty much as I expected.
