That would really be disaster. The man is a hopeless colour commentator but at least he isn't doing us any harm.
I think that Pardew got lucky yesterday in as much as Lomas was injured and he was forced to play a more balanced midfield. However I would rather stay with him than go cheap with Pleat.

This has got to be a joke. What has he ever done outside a couple good seasons with Wednesday? Fuggedaboutit.

I know this a thread about Pardew and any future managers but is Dowie off his rocker? Zamora can't get it done at this level, what makes Dowie think he can get it done in the Prem.
If he offers any cash for him, take it.

Pleat has never had any good seasons at a club since he left Luton in the mid 80's. He was in the process of destroying Spurs when he was caught kerb-crawling and fired. Any Wednesday fan will tell you that his reign at their club was the beginning of the end there, dismantling a decent team, and as for his second spell at Spurs as DoF, he got 3 managers fired and then proceeded to really shank things up during his caretaker season.
The journalist at that paper must really hate the Hammers or something. Pleat couldn't get a job sweeping the floor at Upton Park!
