choosing a high school

I am in 9th grade at a Division 1 high school in Michigan, we r an okay team but there is another division 3 team in town that is better. The D-3 team just won the state championship 2 yrs ago and got to the regional finals this yr. All the kids that go there r trying to talk me into transferring. I am looking to play in college and don't know how things will work out if I play for a small school. Could someone give me advice on this decision?

If youre good enough to shine on your current high school team I would stay there. Youre playing at the highest division (which supposedly does have the better teams) so youll probably be able to gain a lot more exposure. But sometimes if your team sucks so bad that you cant even show your real skill then maybe it is time to transfer.
