View Full Version : Arsenal: Everybody Hates You

Now that's some smack, Winston. I wish I could throw down some like that. If the old and tired "you should support your local team, you stupid American" argument is all you got, then you should retie now. Quit while you're ahead and all that, because, son, quite frankly, that line's played itself out. Why don't you try finding fault with the club that the person supports? How about this, I'll give you some ideas... 1. Wenger never sees anything. 2. Ashley Cole is a cheating wank. 3. Robert Pires is a cheating wank. 4. All Arsenal do is field Frenchmen. 5. Sol Campbell is a cheating wank. 6. The new kit looks ************. All the others (the post-Christmas collapse, dirty football, arrogance, etc.) don't seem to hold true this year. If people hate Arsenal, well, we really don't care. People have always hated Arsenal. In years past, it was because they played a style of football that was ugly, boring and unappealing (hence the songs "One-nil to the Arsenal," and "Boring, Boring Arsenal."). Today, they hate us because of various reasons, some made up, and some actual. Mostly, I think that United fans hate Arsenal because the AFC is their club's main rival. Tottenham and Chelsea fans hate us because of the local derbies and the living near someone who wears the other team's colors. Everybody else hates us out of varying degrees of envy. Does that sound arrogant? It surely does, but it's hard to be humble when Ladbroke's has an Arsenal Treble listed at 7/1 odds.

That's not fair OAP. It took me 11 days to come up with a response like that. Quite nice to see they've actually got the internet in Plumstead these days. Okay:
1. Arsene Wenger's a whinging alleged paedophile;
2. Pires is a diving, cheating, fair weathered grease mop;
3. Sol Campbell is a filthy traitor;
4. Vieira belongs in a house of horrors;
5. Ashley Cole is so sharp he can't even remember when he's supposed to defend;
6. Bergkamp's fear of flying unfortunately doesn't extend to the penalty area;
7. Freddie Ljungberg thinks show boating's something you do when it's 0-0;
8. Henry is french.
Anyway, that's far to much time spent discussing absolute Arse. This is of course shameless trolling. I'm just doing my bit to make this rivalries section a bit lively. Bit disappointed about the lack of Spurs support though.
As for Scum v **********ki this week, never have I faced such an agonising non choice, but I do hope the Ruskies stuff the Frogs this week...

well well well a jealous spu*s fan. you are going to feel the anger of all the gunners around the world because of that? Calling Wenger the master a kiddy fidler is beyond a joke cos you have to bring senseless mindless non football related things to get at us. We are a world class football team and even man u fans would admit we play good football. so why dont you go back to the hole you cames from and focus on coming 10th in the league.
COME ON THE ARSENAL!

Well, Dan, to be fair, he does have a bit of a cheeky smile... But, sad to say, most of those "arguments" that Mr. Smith has made have little to do with football. Since his club cannot compete with ours, he is resorting to personal attacks on the club's players. Is the rivalry lopsided? A bit, yes. Will it become a "better" rivalry when the two sides are a bit more equal? Depends on your meaning of "better." The games will certiably be more fun to watch, because, Jesus, it gets tedious watching Henry blow one past the Tootenc*nt keeper again, and again, and again. On a related note, I'm surprised that The Double hasn't popped his little head in to welcome me back. This much unreasonable talk from me and you think he'd make an attempt to say something...

This new color scheme is hurting my eyes. I can't look at the BS screen for more then 10 minutes without having to look away from the monitor.

Excuse me Mr Double. Would you please wear your Spurs affiliation with pride. AFC Brooklyn? Is that a real team, and if so are you returning to your roots? Christ, I started going to see Leyton Orient a few months ago but couldn't face watching the Spurs of division 3. To all you evil gooners out there, I didn't just say that... ;)

I know, it sucks, doesn't it? The old one looked more professional, as well.
So you take longer than ten minutes to read my dry, factual, and conspicuously unfunny smack? Why, sir, I am flattered... :D

As well you should be. Kiper has us taking Roy Williams out of Texas with the 9th pick, by the way.

Its not a real team. I just made it up to go along with my avatar. Brooklyn Lager is one fine beer.

MMistake, mistake, mistake, mistake, MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need corners, JdR!!!! Corners and LB's. I hope we don't take him. Dammit. I wanna see them pick up Teddy Lehman. That's one thing I'll always miss about Coughlin. He was a master at the Draft.

Hah. Sp*rs fans laughing at the Arsenal. You do realize you won't win any trophies this year, and haven't won anything significant for a long, LONG, time, right? Oh, you do, don't you. Just making sure...

Juice, I'm sure even satanic gooners might object to bandwagon jumpers such as yourself declaring yourself Arsenal because they're above average at the moment.
Spurs, the saints in white, are my local team. Geographically, your nearest premiership side should be Liverpool shouldn't it? I think they're the furthest West.Geographically your local team should be Arsenal if you live in Stoke Newington. Dont worry that its only 15700 days since you won the league. Cheer up by having a look around the spurs trophy room.

No, that was pishy. I told him to get a hobby. You should get one too, since watching your pathetic side couldn't be too entertaining.
