I was drinking with an Assnal friend of mine yesterday. All he kept going on about was the fact that they should never move from Highbury, they're still a small club (and no one realises this) and the press are all yids because they blew up the bust up between the gooner thugs earlier this week.

Blah blah blah. Can't you whinging gooners just enjoy your moment in the sunshine until Vieira, Wenger et al jump ship? You'll have plenty of years to whinge after that when you can't fill Ashburton rubbish dump.

My god you are bitter aren't you, why don't you go and buy yourself a coat, after all it must be very cold living in our shadow.

You are a liar! Even Sperz supporters don't think Arsenal are a small club.

Tottenham - BCMA! Five goals in eight matches - what crap your team is. Both Henry and Reyes have scored more than your whole team. Bergkamp and Ljungberg are just one behind.

If things go on like this even you will be able to get a ticket for White Shite Lane. In fact - the way things are going you might even get a game!

:D

Er... Spurs most successful start to the season in the entire history of the premiership... Most potent strike partnership (before donkey and shrek got together)... Still managed to bag 3 points at Goodison Park even though no other team had managed it since the middle of last season...

Besides which, if you replaced 'sperz' with 'chelski' in that rant it would be just as appropriate, and their sitting right on your arse(nal). BCMA!

Er... Spurs most successful start to the season in the entire history of the premiership... A pathetic boast which shows just how far behind the top teams you really areMost potent strike partnership (before donkey and shrek got together)... Factually incorrect as has been pointed out already, but keep on deluding yourselfStill managed to bag 3 points at Goodison Park even though no other team had managed it since the middle of last season... You mean apart from the 4-1 arse-kicking we gave them in the first game of the season I presume?Besides which, if you replaced 'sperz' with 'chelski' in that rant it would be just as appropriate, and their sitting right on your arse(nal). BCMA!You're right on your last point though, Sperz and Chelski are as boring as each other, perfectly illustrated by the turgid no score bore played out by them a couple of weeks ago.

At Highbury?

Had I known you in the late 80s, early 90s, I'm sure I wouldn't have heard you whinging about boring, boring Arsenal.

Er, actually, you're a gooner. The Library only comes alive to the murmurings of whinging gooners, only now it's if you're not winning by more than two goals, such is the transient nature of all those sudden fans from the trendier parts of Islington who are the only ones who can get tickets these days.

And had I known you up until this season, then I would have heard your sad excuses about how "Sperz don't play boring of football" and "We don't care if we don't win as long as we play good football". As has been shown at Highbury over the past few seasons it is possible to play great football AND win.

The "transient, sudden" fans as you call them have probably been there longer than your last four managers put together you poor unfortunate.

As I've said in the blessed forum and on this wondrous thread, I'd rather have boring, boring Spurs than the debacle of the last couple of years. I've never really been one for the entertaining game if that means winning zilch.

I was at the Man City cup game last season and that game was more traumatic than exciting. The only high point being Keane's denial of three points to the scum at WHL.

Even in the early days of the Prem with Klinnsman and later Ginola, the standard of play was overshadowed by management and board tight fistedness and ineptitude.

As for the transient fans, and I'm not talking about the Nick Hornby types, I'm talking about the new crowd that are more likely to cry 'shhhh' than actually sing for the team and are the only one's that can actually get tickets.

Whether that changes at the new 'Emirates' stadium remains to be seen. Great name btw. LOL!

I'm afraid winning things does bring a few transients with it, but you'll have to take my word for that.

As for the stadium name, shall we call it the "£100 million for nothing stadium"? thats got a nice ring to it.

Tell me is it true your underachivers are try to get a naming deal with Royal doulton, apparently it's the only way your going to get any cups !!

And that, in a nutshell, shows how far your supporters have fallen. The high point of your season was a draw, at home, with a last minute penalty, against your nearest (in distance) rivals. I'm sure you were still smiling as our players danced on your pitch celebrating the championship again!

How sad are you Winnie?

Football is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom

I don't know... I predicted 2 nil to Man Spurs on Sunday and that turned out to be true. Poor Rooney, he looked seriously hurt after Campbell bullied him onto the ground in the box. Mwah-hah-hah!
