back to the "we're better than spurs" argument again. what have we got to do with it? i thought we were supposed to be irrelevant and insignificant to you now?
It's not an argument from where I'm sitting, it's a fact mate !!

INVICIBLES. yes, a lovely ring. INVINCIBLES, which is how the word is spelt, has an even nicer one. :D way to look like a douchebag. is there some kind of minimum stupidity requirement to follow your filthy team of nomadic south london pikeys?
Douche bag is two words, unlike dickhead which is one.
Champions!!!!!!!! For the 13th time. Did you go to the parade the last time your team won the league. You paraded in an open top tram apparently!!!!
BTW - you even spell your own name wrong - it's not Joe E, it's Twa T!

So I made a spelling mistake, whoopy doo, still a champion though, I'm glad you find my Dyslexia amusing, I think I cope quite well, and lets face it, not many people get to use the word INVINCIBLES ( Cut and paste ) you certainly haven't / won't :)

Well he thought your club had actually reached the semi finals so I think that shows what he knows. There are two clubs in London who have reached the semis, and you're not one of them.
No, I just made a mistake. I'm well aware of the fact that we only reached the quarters. By the time I realized, it was too late to change it. That's ok though, keep assuming I'm a plastic. You'll see me here year after year, Arsenal success after Arsenal success, sp*rs failure after sp*rs failure, and the same two teams will be under my name. I guess some of you won't see that though since some of you cvnts will probably stop posting on here when your club slips into D1.

Obviously cup competitions carry quadruple weight. Any competition where one bad day can end it for you is a true test of a team's quality.
one bad day? Are you kidding me? The biggest and the mot pressurized games of the year and you chalk it up to one bad day? That sums you up

Sort of like that Wolves match, eh?
If you'd remove your blinders for a brief moment, you'd understand that I was saying that Cup competitions are a crap shoot wherein the better team does not always advance.
But I'm sure in your little world ManU are still light years ahead of Arsenal.
Somebody should mention that to the Premier League so they can rectify this outrage at once! How dare they crown Arsenal champions! All they did was go through a 38 game league schedule without losing a match! They couldn't possibly be better than a club that lost to Wolves and Blackburn.....

oh, come on, i know you're not that lacking a sense of humour. i don't pretend i never make a grammatical mistake, but it was pretty funny the way you had "INVICIBLE" all capitalised and dramatic. like it was the ace up your sleeve, your white knight, and it was spelt wrong. it just amused me. i suppose i'm a pretty immature kind of person. no deep offence meant :)

Shouldn't Gooners fans be replying to the title of this thread 'We don't really care!', rather than going on about past cup success, how crap Spurs are (which I for one am not debating), and spelling mistakes, which is just arguing for the sake of arguing?
Being that I'm from and currently live in North London, I meet lots of Arse fans. The younger they are, the more obnoxious they are (they don't remember the Don Howe 'glory' years, or the tactical geni-arse of Rioch), the older they are, they're usually more approachable. They remember the feelings of woe and horror currently being felt by the Spurs faithful. They feel empathy (in a kind of 'ha ha, glad thats not me' way).
The general problem on boards such as these are that some American's, or young Arse's maybe aren't as knowledgable as others on The History of soccer or the teams they've decided to affiliate themselves with (or indeed decided to hate). Naturally, there are those who are alright (Coach McBerk).
Spurs are pretty pants at the moment.
Arse aren't (although ManU's treble is still a better achievement :p )
Spurs are one managerial appointment away from challenging Arse in the EPL (Arse went from Rioch to Wenger, Spurs went from Francis to Gross) , (provided the board get it right), so that the games don't just mean something to fans of both teams in the area.

absolutely agreed. arsenal fans who go on about how spurs don't mean anything are, in my view, lacking major historical perspective. any long serving arsenal fans with a season ticket almost always says the same thing in my experience - "don't believe the hype, spurs are still the team we want to beat the most." also, a lot of the younger fans are completely unaware of a time when the woolwich wanderers were considered the dirtiest, most boring and unattractive team in britain, and have o reacollection of the tedium and mediocrity of previous sides. they laugh at the idea of spurs going somewhere again - whereas more insightful fans of the scum may well remember how narrow the gap between the two sides was, what, 8 years ago, with rioch in charge. the stroy of the meaningful spurs-arsenal rivalry id far from over, beleive me.

I sort of agreed with you to an extend. The arsenal between 1972 and 1988 were fairly pants. were not winning anything, and our sole goal each season was to finish ahead of Spurs. Pre 71 were fine though.
And your right Spurs used to be a major player, and in fact as I recall were one of the teams responsible for breaking away from the FA and starting up the Premiership.
However a falure to evolves, and a string of dodgy managers has meant Spurs has languished in mid table obscurity. Drastic changes are needed but Im not sure the board is prepaed to make them.
One things for sure. Arsenal have a rivalry with Spurs. Spurs have a seething hatred for Arsenal. Thats the difference.
