The Toffees visit White Hart Lane on New Year's Day.
1-1 is my prediction. If Palace can do it, so can we! :)

I'm slipping, this is the second match thread in a row I've missed!
This is going to be a VERY tough match for us. No Martyn, no Dunc, maybe no Watson, and we're coming off of a crappy loss. Leon Osman should be back (good news) and maybe the Charlton match shook us a little (I'm hoping). I hope it made us see that we're not completely infallable and that we need to keep our heads on straight if we're gonna hang on to our position.
Tottenham is always a tough matchup for us, but last time around, they beat us 1-0 on their home grounds so I think it's revenge time!

Go Toffees!
P.S. If they lose this week, then we'll know that my FSW-viewing jinx is for real. :D

Can you take the risk ?!?
I think we'll smash them. Due a win at their place. Are you sure that Ossie is fit?
If he plays Yobo and Carsley in midfield I am less confident.
Anyhow, prediction 2-0 - Cahill to score.

Regardig Ossie, I got that bit off the official website. He says he's playing no matter what.

Santini's gone, so hopefully Spurs will leave the bus in the station.

What happened to Stubbs? Good to see McFaddy get a start. That boy needs a confidence boost. I'm disappointed, though, to not see Osman back.
I didn't want to tempt fate by waiting until later to watch the game, so I'm listening. I don't care that I'll spoil the results. I cannot wait until 2pm to know. :D

Sloppy defending leads to Spurs' first goal (Marney).

Haha, confident, yeah. It's early, there's gotta be a few more. Pessimism works! :D

Our first real chance and Kilbane misses by a fraction. I'm just not feeling too good about this one. Maybe it's just this terrible stomach ache I have (and, no, I'm not hungover :)).

Dammit, dammit.

Looks like Naysmith is getting ready to come on. He's warming up on the sidelines. At least Davie isn't waiting for 3-0 to make a change.

Damn near 3-0 as Keane hits the crossbar. This game is gonna be ugly. We're getting slaughtered.

Bent did well to get into a position to cross, but it was just behind Carsley's head. Nice work by Carsley, though, to even be there to make it close.

Oh thank god! Cahill scores, sliding it just to the right of Paul Robinson

HT 2-1 Tottenham
Truly ugly ugly play for us. We've got some serious work to do in the second half. That half was painful.

Jeez louise, Spurs almost scored again. We look slightly less sucky, but not much.
