i recently found out that adidas & other brands are coming out with boots specific for women.

i am considering buying the Volea TRX FG:

can anyone tell me if this will be a good choice?

i live in sydney and the fields during winter can get pretty hard but it varies from venue to venue - one week its a rock hard pitch the next it is grassy and softer.

and from reading other threads/posts, it seems blades suit hard/firm ground better then the traditional 6 studs?

thanks! :)

adidas have been fine 4 me in the past (in mens boots) and yes blades are suited to firm ground although for me theyve been good enough on soft ground! if you want leather boots they should be fine

I had a pair of ladies preds once. And i wore them once. They were just way too narrow for my feet. But they might be alright for you?

Those are a real low end shoe from Adidas.

They make womens versions of the Supernovas/Manias/Pulses that would probably be better, however, more expensive.

There are also women's Vapors and Puma makes a few shoes catered to those of the female persuasion.

thanks for your feedback everyone :)

being in australia and that women's football is not as popular, the stock of boots specific for women is limited :( but i hope they start to stock higher end boots soon.

thanks again!
