Martyn is gonna be out the entire month of January with a strained calf muscle. Boy does that suck the big one. Somehow I don't see us clinging to as many clean sheets, and that was about the only thing keeping us in most games.
Osman (knee injury) and Watson (stomach strain) will be looked at again on Wednesday to see if they are ready for Saturday.

I thought Watson only had a stomach ache? Wright is an able keeper as well not up to the standard of Martyn yet. But you can't expect him to be seeing as he hasn't played a full match since before his last injury last year sometime. I'm not really that worried about Osman though, Yobo put in a good performance in Centre Mid yesterday and with Gravesen playing as he is, we can make up for the absence of Ossie.

Official site said Watson had a stomach strain. Not sure what that means.
I'm really nervous about Wright. I do realize that he just hasn't had the playing time, but Martyn kept us in a lot of games and I really think we're gonna start losing now. Change in general makes me nervous. :D

Yeah i know what you mean me and my best mate were having the same discussion last night but we got to stay positive, Charlton are the same sort of side as us, but it's always our luck we meet teams on a bad run of form then they beat us and profit off that and become good again. ALWAYS happens. We can't be all doom and gloom about one loss though can we? Hopefully we'll bounce back against Spurs, but then again they're also on a good run of form, i don't know what to expect now though.

Not sure how Wright will perform in goal. He is a good keeper but I never feel confident when he is between the sticks.
As for Yobo in yesterdays game he wasn't his usual self. Hope Ossie comes back for the Spurs game

I think he's supposed to be back Saturday against the Spurs. We'll know for sure today.

Hopefully he will be because even though i don't think he's a massive part of the team, every little helps and he's been good so far this season.
