Does anyone here have any advice on how to run a practice using futsal balls? I bought the balls specifically because they are supposed to be useful in teaching proper technique and control of the ball. I know one can go through the standard drills that one would do with a regular ball outdoors, but I was curious if anyone had drills/routines that were specifically geared toward working withh a futsal ball?

And if anyone is wondering what a futsal ball feels like when you kick it....imagine striking a water-logged ball. That's pretty much how it feels. I'm pretty sure that if you hit 50 straight shots or passes with a futsal ball and then move on to a regular ball, your technique will be better and you'll definetly have more zip on the ball.

There is a little information here, including a short clip on the video.

They can add a lot of value to your training, primarily for positional play.

Good luck.

i'd say stay away from shooting unless if you are going to train with them very regularly.

people tend to use their toes with them. not that that is bad, it is actually the proper way, but it is a bad habbit with a regular ball unless if you have tons of experience with it.
there really is nothing wrong with using your toe tho, i know a lot of brazilians that are great with it.

anyway, you will get the most out of it with juggling and dribbling.
