Doing a trademark search on the Tacoma Tides and Stars I was shocked to see that the Seattle Sounders have NOT renewed their trademarks on names or logos:

If this information is accurate then all Sounders logos and the name are now public domain and/or up for reclaiming...
Not sure what, if anything, this means in terms of the future of the name/logos/club.
