Enjoy Sunday's result while you can because Leeds is back at it just 48 hours later. Plymouth sits directly above us in the table so we can leap-frog them with a victory. It would also be the first time Leeds has had back to back victories since last season.

10 AM EST from Elland Road.

Actually, it'll be the 2nd time this season with back to back victories if we win.

wins against Coventry (h) and Plymouth (a) were consecutive. The next match was a 2-2 against Crewe (a)

Looks like no McMaster or Oster... both have been suspended by the club while there is an investigation into happenings at the christmas party.

From Sporting Life:

Leeds United have suspended John Oster and Jamie McMaster following alleged breaches of club discipline.

The pair were suspended by boss Kevin Blackwell on Christmas Eve following an incident at the club's official festive party last week.

Blackwell said the duo were set for showdown talks on Friday.

"We have suspended them pending further enquiries," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "We are conducting our own internal investigation. Until that is concluded and we have met with the players again there is nothing further I can say."

Oster, who is on loan from Sunderland, was arrested outside a Durham nightclub two weeks ago. He was released without charge but fined by Leeds and warned about his future conduct.

It is thought Leeds will take a hard-line stance when 26-year-old Oster and McMaster return to the club to learn their fate on Friday.

Following Oster's nightclub incident Blackwell stressed he would not tolerate off-field trouble.

Leeds could opt to end Oster's loan arrangement while 22-year-old McMaster could face a substantial fine and a warning about his future conduct.

Here's my guess at our starting XI:

Sulli
Kelly - Butler - Carlisle (What kind of condition is he in?) - Killa
Pugh - Gregan - Spring - Walton
Deane - Healy

If Carlisle can't go that will move Pugh to the back bump either Richardson or Lennon into the starting lineup.

I'd play pretty much the same side as we did against Sunderland. we'll probably see the same but with Gregan in for Spring.

I wouldn't mind the same XI though.

Got that one right :)

The game was pretty good. Well, the first half was pretty boring, but we were always the better side. Plymouth never looked like scoring. Deane went off injured (not sure of extent) at half time - that might have just been percautional. and JJ came on. 54 seconds into the half, we got our first goal. Someone or other got into the box on the left side and hit a hard low cross to whoever was at the far post. The defender blocked the ball into his own net. If he would have left the ball, it probably would have been 1-0 anyway.

We had a lot of chances to make the score higher, and Plymouth still didn't look like scoring. Wright was played through with an excellent ball, but he was denied by the post. Finally, in the 90th min we made it 2-0. It was a ball over the top for Healy. He saw the keeper slightly off his line and lobbed the ball over him from around 25 yards. It was very pretty.

Plymouth did score in what seemed like the 25634'th min of injury time.. it was the last kick of the game.

Hey hey! Here we go! I'm trying to to get too excited but knowing that the next match is at Elland Road against Crewe (who we will pass in the table if we win) is pretty exciting. So what has been the change? Has Lennon provided the much needed boost or are we just converting on opportunities we have had all along? Regardless, we could move up to tenth in the table with a victory on New Years Day.
